Chapter 8— Jayden's visit

Calvin barely said a word to me in the past two days. The only thing he did was nod to my greetings. He obviously was still mad. But what could I have done?

Reaching the living room, I stopped for a second as his eyes met mine before they ran on my body and I felt them linger longer on me.

“Here, have it,” he stretched a paper I collected and scanning the document, my jaws dropped. What? A Company Certificate? With my name on it?

Is he kidding me? How…

“You—”

“Sign it. After that, you can go see your company.” His lazy voice dropped and my eyes widened.

“It's all set?”

“All set. Now sign it.”

And that moment, happiness bloomed inside of me and I hurriedly scribbled my signature down. I now own a centre? One of my dreams! It was all done, huh? That easy? Oh my god! I was a CEO!

“Thank you very much!” I screamed through a smile to Calvin as I looked at him and I saw his brows raised slightly before he nodded and stood, then out of my sight.
