Chapter 18— Drunk

“Thank you so much,” I told Lorraine as I gulped down the tea and she smiled.

“I'm glad you liked it,” she said and gave me a smile. I took my handbag and headed out. When I got to the car, Brandon was there.

“Good morning ma'am,” he exhaled, “I was just about to come in,” he sighed and my brows creased. What was wrong?

“What's it?”

“Mr Calvin denied you access to the company for now,” Brandon dropped the words and I stopped. It hit me like a shock. He denied me access? Because he found it for me?

Rage built inside of me and I stared into space before heading back inside.

That was the punishment? That was it? I chuckled as I shook my head. He had control over it and decided to use it? Wow, because he helped me found it?

Sitting on the sofa, it took minutes before my anger started to dissipate which had me sighing at the end. He had the control and he could do however he wanted.
