LUKA’S POV I left the airport with the third car that was still waiting for me. Two of my warriors were inside the car ad so also was my Beta, Baba. I knew the workload would’ve doubled for me as well here since I left without proper preparation and most times, I feel bad for my Beta. “Are there any updates I should be aware of?” I asked my Beta. I was already worried about what I would say to Crystina when I get home so I needed something to preoccupy my thoughts before then. “Yes, Alpha. CRYSTINA’S POVWhat was I thinking when I allowed Luka to kiss me that way? I was still angry at the fact that he brought a new girl into the pack without putting my feelings into consideration. I was also surprised and angry when I went into my room hours ago and I found out it was almost empty. Why? The great Alpha Luka had ordered for my things to be removed to his room. “You should’ve talked to him more instead of walking out like that, Crystina,” Kris, my wolf scolded me.“I’m surprised you still care after seeing him with another woman,” She had tried reaching out to Luka’s wolf again when we were arguing but I stopped her and blocked her out. “I don’t think anything is going on between them but I swear that I’ll tear that girl into pieces if I see her again,” “Do the same to Luka when he’s back. Use that same energy, you shameless woman,” I rolled my eyes at her. “We can’t hurt our mate, that’s off the board,” “Whatever, Kris. Whatever!” I was too tired to argue so I close

CRYSTINA’S POV The following morning when I woke up, I had a blanket on my body and that came as a surprise because I don’t remember standing up to pick up a blanket or even anything else. Whoever bothered to bring me this fluffy thick blanket deserves a great week. After taking a quick bath, I had it in mind to visit the Beta and ask him when I could start working at the Pack’s kindergarten. I would’ve volunteered to teach math at the high school but I don’t think that will make any sense. “Good morning, Miss Mary,” I picked up an apple from the kitchen fruit bowl and took a bite. “It’s twelve, Luna,” She replied with a smile. My eyes went wide as I removed my phone from my pocket to check the time. My mind has been preoccupied with a lot of things that I didn’t bother to check the time when I woke up. “Woah! I didn’t know it was past noon already,” “You must be hungry. I can serve your lunch, right away,” She suggested and I knew that would only waste my time. I shook my head.

CRYSTINA’S POV Paige’s call woke me up the following morning. Luka was no longer in bed but his spot was still warm. He didn’t stop kissing me through the night. We made out more than twice and I let him know both times that I was too tired for an all-night make-out session. The third time, he told me I didn’t need to make any effort that’ll tire me out. I didn’t understand what he meant until he buried his face in between my thighs. Well, in one word, I had a really goodnight's rest. “How was your night, Luna?” I smirked at Paige’s words even though I knew she couldn’t see me right now. “It was fantastic, Paige,” I smiled widely. Paige came back to the pack yesterday with her boyfriend Harry and I’m excited about seeing her again. “Let’s meet at our usual restaurant for lunch,” She suggested instantly. Crystina’s POV “What did you just say?” I asked furiously. I’ve been called that all my life, I can’t even walk around the street without someone whispering and calling me that behind my back. All my life, I’ve been tagged as the murderer’s daughter but this time, I won’t take it from her. “You’re nothing but a slut, a bitch, and a useless daughter of a useless father,” She shouldn’t have brought my father into the discussion. “You have no damn right to call me those names,” I yelled. Everything else around me seemed to have evaporated and it was just us standing in front of that restaurant. “What will you do about that, you weakling?” She pushed me by my chest. She was taunting me, she wanted me to turn and walk away as usual but no, I repeat I won’t let her bully me. She had a problem with me for unknown reasons, not my father. ‘We’re not a weakling, Star, kill her!’ Those were the last words I heard from Kris before I growled while I shifted into my wolf and charged at her.

LUKA’S POV I was in a Pack's meeting with my Beta and Gamma when another warrior tried reaching out to me through the mindlink. Thinking it was disrespectful and uncalled for, I ignored him. It was when Baba, my Beta told me about what was going on that I regretted ignoring him. I walked out of the meeting and insisted on my Beta not following me when they wanted to. I got to the location that I was told and truly, Mellissa was fighting my mate, for reasons unknown. I don’t know what happened and I don’t know whose fault it is or who started the fight but I know truly well that Mellissa must have provoked Crystina so much for her to shift and fight with her. I could easily distinguish between the two wolves because I was there when Crystina had her first shift years ago. I had hidden behind the tree while one of the pack members helped her through it. I didn’t show myself because I’d been trying to act tough and unforgiving. When I saw her white wolf for the first time, I was amuse

CRYTSINA’S POV I was confined to the solitude of my room for hours and this was not done by anyone other than myself. I was still furious about what Mellissa had said to me and I was angrier at myself for allowing her words to get to me. I’m a Luna, I’m supposed to be a role model to the pack, a good example, and not just a woman who disgraces herself by fighting like a loser in front of the whole pack.“We did the right thing, Star,” Kris urged me. CRYSTINA’S POV Even though Luka had said he would ground me for not telling him about what had happened between Mellissa and me, nothing happened. I can’t say if he actually told the guards or maids to not let me out of the house because I didn’t make any attempt to leave myself. Kris had been on edge since the day we fought Mellissa and she wasn’t in the best mood to be among people. It might be dangerous that way. I only allowed her for a run last night and it was for a few minutes before we returned back home. I didn’t want her to go too far and still, she wouldn’t stop nagging and complaining about how I was a party pooper. She said if only I had allowed her to fight others during the past year, they would’ve known she wasn’t that easygoing type. Her complaints weren’t my major concern and neither would I give her nagging a second thought on a normal day. I’ve been worried about Paige.
