Paige's POV

"STOP!" A strangulated noise came from within me as I tried to fight off the hands that were pulling me apart. I choked on my own voice as tears pulled down my face like rainwater. I was dying from being torn apart. I could still see that man's face from that terrible night.

He was smirking, laughing, and rejoicing that he had overpowered me. His voice still echoed in my mind, mocking me. His scent suddenly surrounded me and I felt like throwing up. I shook through the core of my nightmare and emerged like a wounded wolf. I was defeated, hurt, and speechless.

"Help me," I called out to anyone who could hear. When I looked up, I could see my wolf staring back at me through a mirror.

"Help me, Glyds," I begged. She cowered away, hopeless and useless like I was.

Tears kept on looking down my face and I sat in the corners of the dungeons, dejected and rejected. The filthy and crude hands didn't stop pulling at me. I was not in the right state of mind and neither was I e
