"I love it!" Emma beamed as she looked around the apartment. Mila called her and told her that she found a very good apartment for a reasonable price so the two girls went to check it together.

The apartment was really cozy and warm and they both seemed to love it. The entrance of the kitchen was on the right once you open the front door while its counter faced the living room and it had three kitchen chairs. The living room was in front of the kitchen. Its size was good, enough to fit a small dining table on the far left and a dark blue L-shaped couch with a coffee table in the middle while the TV was against the wall with a short long black table beneath it. On passing the kitchen, there was a hall. The first door on the right was for the laundry room, then there was the door of one of the bedrooms and the other one was right across it. The two bedrooms had bathrooms, but one of them was connected to the main bathroom of the apartment.

When she heard the door being unlocked, she looked up and was in complete surprise when she saw Hannah walking in with Emma. It was something she never expected."Hi," Mila said, looking at the two girls with confusion written all over her face."Hey..." Hannah said, nervously. She did not know how Mila was going to react on seeing her in her apartment."Hi! Hannah and I made up!" Emma said cheerfully, earning a surprised look from Mila."Oh... that's great! When did that happen?" Christmas and New Year were amazing. I had a great time with Emma and my parents and of course, Blake. Sadly, Hannah, Julie, and Leila were not in Seattle to spend some time with me and my family, but I was happy that they enjoyed their time in their hometowns; we shared lots of pictures on our group chat on WhatsApp.Luckily, Blake was already from Seattle which made it easy for me to spend some time with him. I invited him and his mum for dinner on December 26th and everything was perfect. My parents and his mum bonded really well which was something that made us happy. My mum loved how his mum treated me; Angela treated me like I was her own daughter and I truly loved her. Even my dad liked Blake a lot and they talked more during this vacation.I received many gifts this Christmas and I was in love with all of them. Blake got me a pair of silver earrings from Pandora that I liked a lot, but what I loved more was the handmade album that had many pictures of us

"Blake, it's getting so late... Mila hasn't come home yet and she is not answering her phone, please tell me she's at your place." I bit my nails nervously as I talked to Blake on the phone. It was already midnight and Mila was nowhere to be found. I was close to losing my mind."What do you mean she's not home? I only saw her this morning, but nothing after that," Blake spoke, worry was obvious in his voice."I don't know! She told me she needed to buy a few things and left, but that was around eight and now it's midnight!" I told him nervously. What was I supposed to do? Should I go search for her?I looked at my phone and saw an unknown number calling me. "Blake, stay on the line, there's an unknown number calling me," I said anxiously and answered. "Hello.""Is this Emma Adams?" I heard a woman's voice, speaking to me professionally which increased my worry. Why would anybody call me at this hour unless it was an emergency?"Mila Montgomery has

In life, we are going to encounter different obstacles, some of them will be normal, they will pass by one day and we will most probably end up forgetting about them. However, some of them will break us, but we always have the choice to get up from our fall and fix ourselves; we always have the choice to be stronger and to face the storm with a brave heart. We always have the choice to either be fighters or to be victims. We are going to meet different people, some of them will be amazing and others will be nothing but snakes or maybe chameleons because they always change their skin and their colours. Meeting bad people is just as important as meeting the good ones because we will never know the worth of those who truly love us unless we meet the fake ones, the ones who will end up breaking us and tearing our hearts apart. We will make mistakes, we will all do. We are not angels to be perfect all the time. We are humans and humans make mistakes, but what is important i

I was sitting in the café near the campus waiting for Aaron to arrive. We were supposed to have lunch together. Aaron met my mum a week after she settled in Seattle and I could tell that she liked him, which was something I was grateful for. She bought herself a flat close to the one I shared with Mila and she let me decorate it. I remember how surprised he was when I told him that my mum was finally back in my life and how happy he was for me; however, I could see the worried look in his eyes and when I confronted him, he admitted that he was worried that she might fail me again and he did not want me to get heart-broken for the second time by the same person. He was so considerate and loving; he treated me like a queen. Each day, I fell in love more with him. He never failed to amaze me and he made my heart flutter each time I saw him. Believe it or not, I still get butterflies in my stomach every time I see him."Hey, baby." I heard his soft voice and I felt
