"W-WHAT is it, Aurora?" The person in front of me who was in an expensive restaurant in the middle of the ocean asked with a frown.

"I said, yes..." I whispered with a smile.

His face lifted. "Yes? You mean, it's finally, yes?" he repeats.

I smiled sweetly. "Yes. Shall I repeat it again and again?"

"Yes. Yes. Yes..." He stood up, looked up at the sky, and shouted happily.

"Hey, Travis. It's embarrassing. Sit down, please..." I said when I felt that almost everyone there was looking at us.

"No...I can't stop it. Yes. Oh, my dearest, Aurora. Thank you, thank you so much for making my day complete. Thank you," he was so happy and he pulled my hand upright.

"T-Travis—"

"Everyone, I just want to scream my happiness to all of you. This woman is officially my girlfriend. Finally, she is mine starting tonight..." He still happily yelled.

Little by little, someone applauded, until it increased. The others shouted congratulations to both of us.

After a while, I pulled him to sit down. "Enough, please enough, Travis. I'm ashamed. You know me, I don't want a public display." I said.

"Sorry, I just carried away, Aurora."

I just nodded and then sat down. "Come on, let's eat."

"Sure, sure." I let him put food on my plate. He won't stop even if I told him. I only did it to put a wine in our goblet.

We ate a lot. He is not my first boyfriend but I felt so awkward at that time, I don't know why. I'm just not used to thinking that since that night, Travis is officially my boyfriend. I am sure that I want to accept his love... but my heart— I don't think so...

The night ended with Travis happily driving me to my apartment. I did not invite him inside for a coffee because I'm tired and I know that we both need to go early to our work tomorrow.

"Well, good night," I said as he stopped his car.

He turned off the engine and faced me with a smile. He cupped my face in his palms. "I still can't believe it, Aurora. After a year, finally. Am I dreaming?" I shook my head and smiled slightly. "Oh, this will be a special day of my life. Thank you, I love you..." He said and I felt that every utterance of that word was true.

"I'm sorry if I made you wait for so long, Travis."

"No, don't say that. Of course, I am willing to wait and everything should not be rushed. I am so happy that you finally gave me a chance to be your man, and I hope to be your man in the future."

I swallowed when he said that. I have feelings for him, but if we are talking about marriage... No, I am not ready for it. Yes, I can see that he is the one I want to be my spouse in the future but not right now.

"Let's not rush about it, Travis. Let's just enjoy having each other, okay?" I said staring into his eyes as well.

His eyes show sadness. But it was immediately covered with a smile. "I promise to be the best boyfriend for you, Aurora. I will also make you feel how much I love you and how important you are in my life."

"Of course, I feel it, and my heart feels it."

He looked at me earnestly my eyes. I didn't expect it, his lips gradually touched mine. I was surprised and did not move immediately. It didn't take long for his lips to touch mine. Both of my cheeks warmed as he stared at me again.

"I don't want this night to end," he said.

I smile suddenly. "Oh, come on, Travis, we both have work tomorrow. So, good night and have a wonderful dream."

"Aurora—"

"Travis, it's late at night. You know me, I don't like staying up."

"Okay, because I don't want to keep you awake either." He said and let me go.

Before he finally let me go, he gave me another touch on the lips.

After I cleaned my body and put on my pajamas, I immediately lay down on my soft bed. I am looking at the ceiling. My brain has come a long way. I am thinking about my parents. As suddenly as my parents came to my mind that I had been looking for for a long time.

"How are they? I'm always hoping that they are both fine. I miss them too much." I mumbled, out of the blue.

I was thinking when suddenly my cellular phone rang. I looked at it. I shook my head and smiled when I saw Travis's name on the caller ID.

"Hello, honey..."

"Honey?" I frowned.

"I want to call you, honey as an endearment." He said with a laugh on the other line.

"Oh, okay."

"You don't like it?"

"I'm not used to it-"

"You'll get used to it too, hon." He said.

"Yeah, I agree. I can get used to it some time. Hey, have you been home yet?"

"Yes."

"Good. Then rest. There is still work tomorrow,"

"Yes. I just called you because I wanna hear your voice before I go to sleep."

I giggled. "Oh, you heard it already."

"Well, it looks like I'd rather be talking to my beautiful girlfriend than sleeping."

"Oh, come on."

Travis and I talked for a few minutes before the call ended and I heard his words of love for me again.

I stared at the ceiling of my room again. I sighed as I tried to feel the strange feeling that I should feel for my lover. But sadly, I still didn't feel the magic that I wanted to feel.

"Is my decision right? Hey. Maybe I can learn to love him more. Yes, we are just starting, so my feelings for him are still in the process."

I closed my eyes at the same time as the emptiness I felt at that moment. Until my memory returned to my parents whom I hadn't seen and had been with for two years.

"I miss you, mommy and daddy. I hope, you two are always fine. Promise to visit you one of these days," I whispered as I closed my eyes and remembered the happy moments when I was still with them.
