SUMMARY

The protagonist of the story is Rebecca. Rebecca is a single 32 year old woman who lives in an apartment on the lower east coast of Manhattan.

This is a low class community so she is not compelled to make conversation with the locals. She works in the accounting department of a Multi-Sector Conglomerate Co-operation.

When she goes to work her only friend there is Dian, in their conversations Dian does most of the talking and Rebecca only listens to her and absorbs only very little of the conservation with the occasional head nodding and smile. Rebecca goes straight home after work so Dian is her only human connection during the days that if u would consider their conversations human connection.

She only had one boyfriend when she was in her early twenties. Their relationship ended abruptly after he revealed to her he was gay. That explained the awkward sex and only had sex twice in the 6 months they were together. So Rebecca has never really experienced the feel of sexual em
