"Lena, you should take a break," my father said from the door of my room. I'd been sitting there for a while now, reading and taking notes. I didn't want to leave any information out. I was getting more insights and also confused. "You've been reading that book for a long time now. Come have lunch with us,,"

I twisted in my seat and turned to look at my father. "I really want to but I have to finish this. It's my destiny to save Willow Pack from this demon. I don't have much time left."

"I brought lunch," Another voice came. It was Aunt Raya. She was bearing a tray in her hand. I sighed and smiled at her before pushing my seat back and standing to my feet. "Thank you, Aunt Raya. Really."

"Now you can eat and read at the same time. Let her be."

My father sighed and ruffled my hair. "Make sure you don't get too absorbed into this. I don't want to lose you."

"Oh, she has to be absorbed to actually be able to do anything. You know that, right?"
