I walked out of the room few minutes later without waiting for Tyrex to come back. There was no need to do that. He would see the meat I had killed and that was the proof he needed to know that he had lost to me. It wasn't a total loss though as the one who lost in the duel for the position of the alpha automatically became the general of the pack.

I hoped that the two of us would be able to work together for the better purpose of the pack. It wasn't an easy thing to wish for at this moment but I hoped that we could make it work.
