**Alana's POV***

“Alright. If that's what you want, you're free to do so.” Aiden stated happily. I swiftly turned around and walked away from them.

When I came out to the pack's hall, I couldn't find my pack soldiers. Where could they have gone?

I instantly mind linked James, who told me they were in the fields. I speedily headed over there and saw them looking at the pack soldiers training in the fields. A smile spread on my face seeing them so invested.

I walked down to where James was standing. “I guess coming to the Blood Rose Pack wasn't that bad after all,” I uttered. James turned around to face me and his face lit up. “Alpha, you're back.”

“Yes. Take a walk with me,” I said and led the way, walking slowly.

“So, what happened? You were gone for long, and it took all the self-control in me not to barge into your meeting place and whisk you away.”

I couldn't help but chuckle at James' words.
