“Stephan you're here.”

“And you seemed to be lost in thoughts. Let me guess, is it because you'll be nominated as my beta soon?”

I sighed deeply, rubbing my temples.

“I feel like everything is happening so fast.”

“That's not true. If you had been in your pack, I'm sure you would have assumed a better position by now.”

“You're right about that though, but then I feel being elected as the new beta is kind of too sudden.”

“Alana, don't say that. Even if you don't see the contribution you've made in the pack, I'm sure the others have.”

“I know, still, I feel like everything is happening in the blink of an eye.”

“I don't think so at all, especially with what I just found out.”

“Huh? What you found out? What could that be?”

“Well, according to the spies you sent to keep a close eye on the Blood Rose Pack, it so happens that the triplets will finally be elected as Alphas in a week's time.”

“What?!” I exclaimed, wide-eyed.
