**Alana's POV***

It's been over a week since I took the position as female coach of the wolf pack. Not only that, my mother's health has become better as well. Though she's locked in the dungeons, with the help of Stephan my mother is given special treatment, and her illness has subsided as well.

Now she feels better. Knowing this gives me this feeling of satisfaction because she has always been my greatest worry. Thankfully, I don't have to worry about her anymore.

Though, despite all this, there's this indescribable void I feel in my heart. I feel empty even though my mom was doing okay, and I think I know why.
