Chapter 2 Alan's Lover

**Alana's POV**

As soon as I got to class, the bell rang for the first subject. Sh*t! It was chemistry class and I'll be having a test. I can't afford to get any more late.

Just as I was rushing to class, I suddenly bumped into someone.

“Ouch!” I quickly looked up only to see Stephan. Instantly, a smile spread across my face.

“Stephan!” I called with so much relief. He's the only one who actually cares for me in the whole pack.

“You're late Alana. You need to get to class so you can take the test.”

“Yes,” I replied.

“Well, well, well. Who do we have here,” the familiar voice immediately made the blood in my vein run cold.

I slowly turned around only to see my worst enemy, Rachel, and the triplets behind her. Instantly I felt sick to my stomach. Why are they here so soon?

“Stephan, don't tell me you actually have a thing for this slave, do you?” Jayden asked as he walked towards us. Meanwhile, the others folded their hands and stared at me with an evil smirk on their faces.

Currently, I don't need a soothsayer to tell me that they are here to make me suffer again.

"T...that's not true, Jayden.”

“Shut the f*ck up!” Jayden yelled at the top of his voice, and this made me tremble in fright. He grabbed Stephan by the throat with burning anger.

“You think I'm stupid? I saw how you were staring at her with a smile. Tell me, do you like the bi*ch?”

“N…no,” Stephan stuttered.

At this moment, tears clogged my eyes because I know exactly what's in for me.

Jayden grinned, “well then, if you're not, prove it!”

My heart sank. I know what this means, they are at it again.

I looked up at Stephan who folded his hands into a tight fist, and instantly charged towards me. The next thing I knew, he kicked me so hard in the stomach that I fell to the ground at once.

I whimpered, feeling sharp pains on my stomach.

“Good! Now you've proven yourself!” Jayden said, and the other brothers applauded him, including Rachel, while I laid on the ground, wincing in pain.

While I was on the floor, I suddenly heard them whisper among themselves.

“We should get the hell out of here, Sir Fitz is on his way,” Caden stated.

That was our chemistry teacher. I managed to crawl into the classroom and to my seat. Meanwhile, Stephan was dragged into class by Jayden and the other triplets.

I managed to get to my seat and wiped my tears with the back of my hand. I must not be seen crying, else I might face harsh punishment from the evil triplets.

Just as I was trying to comfort myself, someone behind me placed a note on my desk. I blinked, staring at the note.

Slowly I picked it up and unfold it.

“Alana, I'm so sorry for what happened earlier. Please forgive me. If I hadn't done that they'll punish you even more. Let's meet at our secret place after school.”

Without being told, I knew this was from Stephan, judging from his handwriting. I had wanted to turn around to see him since he sits behind me but then, those evil princes will surely notice me and that will only get me and Stephan into much trouble.

I couldn’t get Stephan, the one I only cared and loved, involved with my hell-like life.

**

After class, I went to our secret spot as usual to wait for Stephan.

While awaiting him, I looked around my environment to make sure I wasn't followed.

Though the coast was clear, there was no harm in being thorough.

After some minutes, I heard quick footsteps coming towards the direction where I stood. My heart skipped when I perceived his presence. It was him. A smile spread across my lips as I turned around to face him.

“Stephan, you're here!” I exclaimed, as I scurried towards him. As soon as I got closer to him, I threw my hands around his neck and hugged him tight while he lifted me off the ground and twirled.

He put me down afterwards but didn't take his hands off my waist.

“Alana, I'm so sorry about earlier. If not for the fact that we were still in school and I'll be found out, I swear I would have killed them along with their sl*t, with my bare hands!” Stephan thundered, his hand in a tight fist. I could feel the anger in his tone and expression.

“Stephan, relax…" I said, rubbing his chest gently. “I know just how upset you are, but you don't have to. I'm very much okay, you know.”

“Still I want to kill them. They are cruel beasts!"

“Well, it's just you and me who feel that way. As for the others, they only see them as charming princes who they are ever ready to die for.”

Stephan scoffed at this moment.

“Why? Because they are handsome? How can everyone in the pack be so blind? They have an ugly heart so that doesn't count as being handsome.”

I blinked when Stephan said these words. This is because I'm guilty.

Indeed, the triplets are so handsome. This must be the reason I can't resist them when they make their advances at me. I can't even control my sexual lust the moment they touch me.

“Alana, are you okay?”

“Huh?” I quickly snapped out of my thought, taking my gaze back to Stephan.

“Alana, you don't have to worry, I'll protect you from them.”

I know it's hard to do that. Asking for Stephan's protection is as good as asking him to die for me. I can't let that happen.

“Stephan, there's no need to fight them. In two days, I'll be free. Promise you'll come with me.”

“You don't have to ask me twice. I'm also waiting for that day so we'll both finally be free from the tyranny of the triplets and their sl*t of a lover, Rachel.”

I smiled at Stephan. I just wish I could take my mother with me but then, knowing she's mated to the Alpha of Blood Rose pack who is also the father of the triplets, It was better to save myself first. I'll surely grow stronger and come back for her.
