Inka's Point of View

Once Keziah was done showering, I gave her the set of clothes that she'll wear and waited for her again. I looked at myself in the mirror and made sure that I look okay. Once the bathroom opened, I helped her brushed her hair and we both went down to the kitchen.

I saw them cooking and preparing the table for the dinner. Well except for Read who was probably back at his office. I guided Keziah to seat at one of the chairs as I looked up at Wayne's dishes.

"You know what, you could already have a wife with those kinds of foods," I stated as I admire all the dishes he was cooking.

"Yeah and hear a lot of nagging? No thank you." He answered as I laughed and went back.

I sat beside Keziah and smiled at her. We waited for another 15 minutes when the boys had finished cooking and placed the foods at the table. I stood up and told them that I'll just call Read. I ran upstairs to his office and knocked twice before ope

He stated on which I smiled a little and cuddled to his chest. His grip became tighter."And same as I, Read. I went back and forth through hell, I can't just tell it to someone like a bedtime story. I'm not ready yet and I hope you understand that." He added and I nodded. For some minutes we stayed like that. Cuddling at the bed, it was when we heard his phone rang when he decided to let me go. I stood up and w

Keziah was Fash's lover not until Keziah had been abducted because of Felix. Felix is an obsessed guy, he loves what Fash's loves, including Keziah." Read started explaining and I listened."I figured this out when I had captured Keziah. She is also under the control of Felix.""How can that Felix control people?" Inka's Point of ViewWayne groaned from the punch that I gave him as the other two guys rubbed their cheeks."I didn't know that you can punch that strong, Inka?" I heard Read commented behind meI shrugged my shoulders and shot a glare at the three guys."I can't believe that you three actually tricked me. Ugh!" I exclaimed still denying the fact that I was gullible enough to believe something."We won't be successful if we aren't a great actor, Inka. It's part of our job." Josh answered and stretched his arms.I rolled my eyes as I sat on the couch. Our dinner date ended with a comfortable atmosphere. We went inside the parking lot." He told me and I nodded, I don't want to cause some rumors to my workers."So what happened here?" He asked and Andrew told him what happened a while ago"Do you have any idea who had been at your office?" He asked me and I shrugged my shoulders."Basically it would have been me and my secretary since this is my office, also some other employee that wanted to walk to me would come here but besides that. Inka's Point of ViewDays turned to weeks and weeks turned to months since the day that Andrew saw my vulnerable state. Read told me that the cameras installed around my office were just inside the office itself and nothing around the whole building. I had told Andrew not to tell Read about what happened in the conference room because I am not ready to tell about it to anyone yet and he agreed.Andrew and I had been closer than ever, Read was continuously busy because of his mafia duties and his work as a billionaire. Whereas Andrew had always accompanied me and acting as a personal bodyguard, he claims that he is worried if I was left alone because he felt like someone might attack me anytime considering that someone planted a lot of cameras around my office.I haven't told anyone that I saw Josh coming out of my office suspiciously. I might ruin their whole alliance if I told something about it and misinterpret it. And I can't ri

Inka's Point of ViewI woke up by the sound of Read's soft snores. I opened my eyes and noticed his arms wrapped around my waist as he was snuggling at the crook of my neck. I smiled to myself and snuggled closer, feeling his warmth more."Good Morning," He greeted, his voice was husky and that sent a lot of weird feeling into my heart.I looked at him and smiled as I greeted him back. He snuggled closer as I played with his hair."Got any plans for today?" I asked and he just hummed back before looking at me"Just a few paperwork and visit to a site, why?" He asked back and I shrugged"I just missed you, that's all," I mutteredHe looked at me, confused and worried as he sat up and stare back at me."Something wrong?"I shook my head and chuckled. Inka's Point of ViewRead parked his car at the basement of his quarters. It was my first time going here and I can say that it looks scary as hell. I looked around and saw his men full of weapons around their bodies."These men of yours, who trained them?" I asked glancing at Read who was taking something from the trunk"I did. I'm not known as the Berserker if my men aren't lustful on blood now, would we?" He answered and I noddedWe walked inside his quarters. A lot of his people were there, some on training, some were just chilling at the side and some would walk and run back and forth. We walked inside a room that I think would be his office since it looks like one. Entering, I saw Wayne sitting on the couch while looking at some files that he was holding. He looked at us and immediately stood up as he greeted Read and me."Have you run a full search on the building?" Read asked as he sat down at his swivel chair

Inka's Point of View"What do you mean you're not sure?" I asked confused as he heaved a sigh and looked back at us."I'm not sure because I didn't know it was him and I was told too late that the guy I was beating was a minor!" Read exclaimed frustrations lacing at his voice."Can you at least explain it to us?" Wayne asked groaning at the building tension in the atmosphere."I-I... It was 7 years ago when I had a failed shipment and I was enraged because that was the biggest and expensive shipment that I had. My men told me that someone was there and messed up our shipments so I went there to see who was that someone." He stated as he sat back in his chair"I saw a boy, he was tall and muscular so I assumed that he wasn't a minor anymore. He was just wearing a black shirt, pants and some old rubber shoes. He was wearing a mask so I didn't saw his face but when I saw him holding by my men, I got angry and just pour my anger out at

Inka's Point of ViewI felt a tap on my cheeks as I groaned. I opened my eyes and saw Read's face, he was smiling a little and gently tapping my cheeks."What?" I groaned and yawned"We're already here." He stated and I looked around. As I have observed, I knew that we are in a different city already. This one looks like a town in a province. It was peaceful and you could see the people having some conversation with each other."Where are we?" I asked Read and he smiled"On an Adventure. Come on, the best part would start soon." He said and I nodded hopping off of his car."How come it's so peaceful in here?" I asked and he shrugged"I guess since everyone wanted to go where the progress starts, they abandoned the place where they can get peace." I heard him muttered and I agreedI looked around and found myself smiling at the peaceful ambiance that the town has. The sky had turned into a sha
