Misunderstood

"Come on, Aunty. Let's go get daddy." Oracle continued to pull my hand towards the room that Axe and I were currently staying in. The little boy couldn't wait to get together for dinner. I had just invited him and he eagerly said yes.

"Good job, Ed. Make sure he doesn't act up after returning to his habitat."

I could faintly hear Axe's voice talking to someone. Of course he was talking to Edward on his cell phone. Their conversation was serious, from the cold tone of Axe's voice. Who exactly were they talking about?

"Axe?"

I thoughtlessly pressed the door knob of the room and found him standing in front of the window. Axe immediately turned off his cell phone, then walked over to me and Oracle.

"Are you ready?" Axe asked Oracle, who was now in his arms. They looked very affectionate towards each other.

"Who are you talking about, Axe?"

I didn't want to waste the opportunity to ask him. I had to know who and what Axe was doing.

Axe didn't answer yet. H
