CROSS POV

John's pulse was faint and I knew if he was not rushed out in time to the hospital he might not survive it.

Fuck how careless could I be?

I knew John was stubborn, the young man wanted his freedom and not to be watched 24/7. I should have checked on John in his bedroom when I noticed an unusual silence. John wasn't the type to stay silent for a long period.

The alarm clock buzzed continuously in his bedroom and I noticed a problem when he wasn't shutting it out. So I quickly got to his bedroom after a while and searched the entire room and John wasn't found.

After searching, going through the entire house, and asking Roseline if she had seen him which came out negatively.
