Morning sugar

Leon gazed at Selena, who had been busy with vegetables and a frying pan in her hands for the past hour.

"Baby, can I come closer now?" Leon asked, sitting at the pantry table and looking at Selena's back.

"Ten more minutes, dear," Selena replied, causing Leon to let out a long sigh. For the past thirty minutes, Selena's response had remained the same, yet no food was served on the dining table.

Leon's gaze then shifted to the circular clock on his wrist. In five minutes, he needed to head to the resort construction project he was overseeing with his friend.

Leon didn't regret moving to this incredibly beautiful country with its extraordinary natural wealth. He was determined to utilize his business acumen to develop tourism facilities and other natural resources on Raja Ampat Island.

"Baby, it seems like I'll just have some bread for breakfast today. I have to get to the project in ten minutes," Leon said, causing Selena to finally turn and look at him.
