Marrissa's point of view

It was another slow, boring morning at Morgan’s house. Staying there was becoming suffocating, it was more like a cage than a home, and that made me so restless. So, I made the decision to go to work—not because Morgan wanted me to, but simply because I could not stand wasting another day sitting in his over-decorated house.

As soon as I entered the company,I saw Glow. She was strolling into the company like she was on a runway, wearing a ridiculously skimpy dress that made her look like she was advertising for something… illicit. I did not even bother acknowledging her existence. I walked past her as though she were invisible.

"Typical Glow," I thought.

She scoffed loudly as I passed, her attempt at getting a reaction failed woefully. I only laughed instead, quietly to myself. I was not in the mood for unnecessary drama. Not today.

Still, the sight of her irritated me. "Who dresses like that on a weekday morning, to work, for that matter?" I thought, sh

Marrissa's point of view I felt so relieved and happy the moment I stepped into the house, and realized Morgan was not back yet. I danced my way to my side of the closet, carefully placing the items I bought inside.I smiled, imagining the shock that will be on their faces when I walk in with Mr Thornhill. The very thought of Morgan or Glow finding out about my plan before then sent a shiver down my spine. They must never know. Not ever. I tucked the dress into the back of the closet, behind a row of old coats Morgan would not even glance at. Satisfied that it was safely hidden, I headed to the bathroom to freshen up. The cool water on my face felt like a reset button, but even as I stood there, one nagging question refused to leave me alone: “How on earth am I going to leave this house and attend the Governor’s party without Morgan noticing?”Morgan was not the kind of man to overlook details. He knew my schedule better than I did most days. The last thing I needed was him—or wor

  • Bringing My Arrogant CEO To His Knees    So fucking angry

Farrow’ s point of view The morning started as a complete disaster. Nothing—and I mean nothing—was going my way. I stared at my phone, my knuckles white from gripping it too tightly, and shouted, “I said get me the dress I ordered *immediately*!” My voice shook with anger as I paced the floor. “Ma’am, we are really sorry, but the dress is no longer available. It was purchased—” “Shut the fuck up!” I screamed, cutting her off. “I do not care how you do it or where you get it from, just get me the damn dress—or trust me, you will regret it!” Before I could finish my rant, the line went dead. “What?” I hissed, staring at the screen. “Did she just hang up on me?” My chest was heavy with anger as I stomped my foot on the floor. I threw my phone onto the couch and folded my arms, glaring at nothing in particular. “The audacity,” I whispered through clenched teeth. “The fucking audacity.” I took a deep breath, but it was not helping. I was so damn angry. So many things annoyed m

Farrow’s accomplice point of view. How dare that lousy, ungrateful, insensible Farrow hang up on me? And not just hang up—no, that was not enough for her—she had the nerve to tell me to “fuck off.” Her words echoed in my head, each syllable twisting the knife of insult deeper into my chest. I threw my phone onto the table with enough force to send a jolt through the wood. For a moment, I just sat there, staring blankly at the screen, boiling in rage. My hands went to my hair, pulling through the strands as I tried to calm myself. How could she? After everything I had done for her, after everything I had sacrificed, was a single favor too much to ask? A common invitation, a simple task—and yet she made it seem like I was asking her to part the damn Red Sea.And this is the woman who claims to be high and lofty? The “most respected lady in Paris”? What a joke. “Old fool,” I whispered under my breath, the words slipping out before I could stop them. Now, I know what you are thinking. W

  • Bringing My Arrogant CEO To His Knees    Meeting the goddess in me.

Marrissa's point of view Oh yes, guess what day it is today. You guessed right—it’s the Governor’s birthday party, and I can not even begin to describe how excited I am. It’s the event of the year, where every rich and important elite gather under one roof, dressed to kill, chatting and laughing with champagne glasses in their hand. Everyone who matters will be there, including me, of course . But, do you know that Morgan Thornhill, my so-called husband, had not called or texted me since he left town. Not even a quick “how are you?” or a courtesy beep. Nothing. I could tell you it did not bother me, but it did. A little. Okay, maybe more than a little. Still, I have decided to return the energy. Let him enjoy his time with Glow, his precious little distraction. I pushed the thought of him aside and slid out of bed, heading straight to the bathroom. Today was not about Morgan or anyone else. Today was about me. Did I tell you I booked a session at ‘Doll Society Salon’? Yes, the Do

  • Bringing My Arrogant CEO To His Knees    The Governor's birthday party 1

Farrow's point of view I looked at myself in the mirror, carefully perfecting my lipstick and making sure every detail of my makeup was flawless. The reflection staring back at me screamed elegance and beauty, but I was not satisfied. This was not what I wanted. Normally, I would have had my makeup done by one of the best makeup artists in the city, someone who knew every contour of my face and could enhance my features with a mere flick of a brush. But today was different. By the time I called her, her schedule was completely booked, leaving me no choice but to rely on one of the maids in our household, Jane, who had only a little knowledge of makeup. Can you imagine? My maid touching my face. Awkward did not even begin to describe how it felt. I had made sure to scream at her multiple times, insulting her for every little mistake and reminding her that she was only being given this privilege because I was feeling generous. Truth be told, she was not bad. In fact, she was surpr

  • Bringing My Arrogant CEO To His Knees    My elegant arrival

Marrissa's point of view The moment I stepped out of Mr. Thornhill's sleek black car and walked towards the entrance of the banquet hall with Mr Thornhill by my side my breath caught in my throat. I stopped in my tracks, and looked around.Could this be real? Could a place truly be this beautiful? Everything around me felt like a dream—no, not a dream, a painting, crafted by the most talented artist alive. The chandeliers, enormous and dripping with crystals, glittered like constellations. The soft, golden light they cast reflected off the marble floors, which were so polished I could almost see my own reflection. The walls were adorned with intricate gold leaf patterns, catching the light in ways that made the entire place glow. Velvet drapes hung elegantly from floor-to-ceiling windows, their deep crimson hue adding warmth to the grand space. Even the scent in the air—roses and a faint hint of something woody—felt deliberate, as though it had been chosen to complement the splendo

Marrissa's point of view "I'm Jack Stone," he said, stretching out his hand with a confident, almost playful smile.I froze. Did I hear him correctly? My mouth opened, but no words came out immediately. "What? Jack Stone? As in the Jack Stone?" I stammered, and to my surprise, he laughed—a rich, genuine sound that instantly put me at ease. "Yes, ma'am," he said, mimicking a cowboy drawl, which only made his charm more disarming.I blinked in disbelief. Standing before me was Jack Stone, the second richest man in the world after the Thornhills. His name was synonymous with power, wealth, and success. Yet here he was, talking to me like we were old friends, without any form of arrogant someone I know possess in full measure."Wow," I said, trying to regain composure. "It's really nice to meet you in person. I have read so much about you." He tilted his head slightly, his smile widening. "And I must say, some of the things you have read probably aren’t true." I must say, there was

I reached for his hair, felt it between my fingers. He sighed into my mouth and his hands moved to my back He caressed my waist, rubbing his hands on my ass and molding it with force. Morgan's point of view I placed my hands inside my pockets, leaning slightly against my door as I watched Mr. Hudson. His face was set in a hard, unreadable expression. The silence between us increased and it only made me more angry. I waited for his response. Then, he finally spoke. "Do you think paying someone to tarnish my daughter's image will set you free?" His voice was low but it did not hide the anger in it and his eyes locking onto mine like a predator sizing up its prey. I raised a brow, amused at his accusation. "Pay someone?" I echoed, shaking my head slightly. "Is that what you think? Mr. Hudson, I do not have the time or the interest to—" "Shut the fuck up!" he shouted, slamming his palm against my desk so hard that the surface rattled. I stiffened. The raw anger in his voice was not surprising, but the force in which he spoke was unexpected. He was usually composed, always one to handle things through backdoor deals rather than outright aggression. For

Morgan's point of view My head was spinning as I drove to work the next morning. "Damn," I whispered ,rubbing my eyes. I had not gotten a single hour of sleep last night, and to make matters worse, I had too much to drink. I rolled down the window slightly, hoping the morning air would shake the grogginess from my system, but it barely helped. My mind drifted back to last night. To my last conversation with Marrissa. I sighed loudly, gripping the steering wheel a little tighter. I was not bluffing when I said what I said to her. If I found out that she had anything to do with Jack, I would make their lives miserable. I would not let this slide the way I did with her little toy. I had let him off the hook because I knew he was beneath me. Dragging Marrissa with him would have been an insult to my personality. But with Jack stone, things are different, we already had so many old scores to settle and Marrissa would not be added to it. “Marrissa is the most stubborn woman

I sprayed my room with a nice spray before opening the door.I was shocked to see my dad at the door , smiling like someone who had just been hit with a billionaire dollar contract.“What's up dad?” I asked.“Farrow, Farrow, my darling farrow, " he said, walking inside my room. For a second,I was shocked.I can not remember dad using such words for me except when he wanted to hook me up with some billionaire.“What's going on?” I said, looking at him weirdly.“You have brought me great joy.” He said, smiling broadly. He took me into his arms and hugged me, even rocking me like I was a little girl."Is everything alright?" I whispered."Of course, everything is perfect, thanks to you," he replied."And what exactly did I do?" I asked, still shock at his behavior."Everything I have always wanted and more," he replied.“With what you have accomplished, not only have you secured your future, you have als

Marrissa's point of view I jolted in fear when the room door flew open and Morgan stomped inside the room.My chest started beating heavily when I saw his dark eyes blazing with fury. He looked like a different person, like a monster on a mission, and I instinctively stepped back. But it didn’t matter. He closed the distance between us in two long strides and grabbed my wrist. My cry of pain only made him angrier and he pushed me toward the bed. “Morgan!” I screamed as fear enveloped me.“What the hell are you doing?” He did not answer. His silence was more terrifying than words. His hand on my wrist tightened as he shoved me onto the bed. I pushed him, trying to sit up, but he was on me in an instant, pinning me down with the full weight of his body. His hand reached for the buttons of my dress, and I thrashed beneath him. “Please, Morgan, do not do this!” I whispered, my voice trembling, tears pooling in my eyes. But he did not stop. His fingers moved quickly, ripping my

Morgan's point of view I parked my car in a hurry and went to the front door hoping to see Marrissa in the dining room or the sitting room, but none was there. I climbed up the stairs, taking it three steps at a time and went into my bedroom. Slamming the door open,I walked into the empty room.By this time, my chest was beating faster than normal not just from exertion, but from anger bubbling inside of me.“Why the hell is she not back?” I hissed to myself, pacing back and forth. My mind raced through every possibility, each one making me more angrier than the last. I pulled out my phone, punching in Marrissa's number. I wanted to call her, to demand an explanation, but a knot of frustration stopped me.The image of her with Jack Stone burned in my mind. Just the thought of her still being with him sent a wave of anger through my veins. I was about to hit the call button when I heard the sound of the front door creaking open.I turned and rushed to the staircase, looking over the

  • Bringing My Arrogant CEO To His Knees    Meeting Glow

Morgan's point of view I sat in my car, looking at the entrance of the hotel, Marrissa and Jack were in for almost two hours. What the hell are they still doing inside, I thought for the millionth time in those two hours.Because of the hotel's policy, I could not go in, I had not made any reservation.By eight in the evening, I drove to one of my secret apartments, the same one my men had kept Glow. The tension in the room increased the moment I stepped in. I could see the shock on Glow's face. When she looked up at me, her shock turned into fear..She should be, because I was not smiling. There was no sign of warmth in my expression, just cold impatience."Start talking," I said, my tone sounding sharper, I went straight to the point. I had no time for games, no time for excuses. I want the truth, every word of it. That's what I came for, and I was not leaving without it.Glow stared at me, frozen in her seat. Her lips moved, but no sound came out. She was trembling, she closed her

  • Bringing My Arrogant CEO To His Knees    A terrifying voice

Glow's point of view Jane and I stepped out of the house and the cool night air did nothing to calm the heat burning in our chest. Her car was parked a distance away from the house. Jane dug in her bag for her keys, and when she found it, dhe looked at me. "Ready?" she asked, her voice sounding low. I knew she was scared too.I have my plan in my head, but I wanted to be far off from Jane before accomplishing it. Her safety is very important to me at this point. So, I nodded. But before climbing into the car, I ran toward her, suddenly overcome with everything I wanted to say but had never been able to. Tears blurred my vision as the words tumbled out, raw and messy."Thank you. Thank you for everything. For staying by my side when I lost my sister, for giving me a home when I had none. I wanted so badly to repay you, Jane, but instead, I just brought more chaos into your life. I'm sorry." My voice broke on the last word, and I could not stop the tears from falling.Jane placed her

Glow's point of view I stood frozen in the door of the bathroom, my heart was beating in my chest as I watched Jane tremble. One of the men had his hand around her throat threatening her. I wanted to scream, to jump out and stop him, but fear pinned me in place. I had brought this trouble into Jane’s life. She did not deserve any of this, and now she was paying for my mistakes. My throat tightened, and hot tears fell down my cheeks.“You better talk, or you would not get to talk again. Where’s Glow?”The man snarled, shaking her violently.Jane’s hands shook as she raised them weakly. For a terrifying second, I thought she might point to the bathroom where I was hiding. My stomach twisted and intense heat rushed through my body immediately. Would she betray me? Where do I to from here? But then, to my relief and amazement, she pointed toward the door.“She left for work a few hours ago,” Jane said, her voice shaky but firm enough to sound believable.I let out a silent breath of rel

I held my chest, trying to catch my breath, as the sound of laughter filled the room. I turned around to find Jane, my best friend, bending over, laughing so hard she had to hold her stomach.“What the fuck did you do that for?” I shouted, still trying to steady myself. My pulse was racing, and I was half a second away from throwing something at her.“I’m sorry!” she said between fits of laughter. “But seriously, Glow, what were you thinking about? I have been standing here for nearly fifteen minutes, and you did not even notice me!”I sighed, brushing myself off as I stood from the ground. “You would not understand,” I said, avoiding her gaze. Jane stopped laughing, and her expression shifted into one of concern. She stepped closer to me, her voice sounding serious. “Come on. Talk to me. What’s going on?”I shook my head, feeling the we
