Nathan had always tried to keep his demons locked in a remote part of his mind, he had always tried to get away from the memories that hurt him, even though they concerned her. He had kept them so far away from himself that he was convinced that some things were slipping out of his memory.

As well as the sound of her laughter, her scent when she sneaked into his rooms, the way she bent her head to the side when she was interested in something or even the expression of her eyes.
