Taryn

Taryn opened her eyes wide and watched attentively at the young king who continued his walkway on the wooden table as if he had not just interrupted Taryn's private council, as if he had not almost destroyed the tent.

Taryn felt anger flow all over her body, her face began to get hot, while hot flashes hit her, almost making her sweat; she shook her hands into fists, her nails sinking into the flesh while observing the serene face of Elhiàs.

"Have you gone out of your mind?" hissed Taryn as Elhias jumped off the table, as if it were the most normal thing in the world.

He landed on the ground raising some dust.

"What a beautiful way to greet," said the king frowning, as he smoothed his trousers.

The men around the table squinted, as if they thought they had gone mad. Grander was breathing heavily, Taryn was sure her heart was about to come out of her chest, while Aiden continued to hold her in his arms,
