Chapter 942

When Kathryn reached home, Frank told her that Chris was having a conference call in the study.

She glanced at her phone to check the time. It was 10:00 pm. She quickly went to her room to take a shower.

Then, she went to check on the baby and went to the study afterward.

When she reached the door to the study, she heard Chris on the phone. However, she wasn't sure what was being said on the other end of the line.

All she heard was him saying coldly, "Got it."

Then, he hung up.

When he saw Kathryn poking her head at the door, he hastily collected himself. "You're back."

"Yes." Kathryn rushed into the room and ran toward him. Chris instinctively opened his arms to catch her.

She was terribly exhausted. She had been incredibly worried about Jessica for the past few days.

Chris noticed that she had lost weight. He carried her and sat on the couch with Kathryn sitting in his lap.

Chris dotingly rubbed her head. "Are you tired?"

Kathryn hummed in response. She was really tired.
