Chapter 849

Benjamin's eyes brimmed with anger as he glared at Kathryn. He seethed with anger, knowing that Kathryn had actually been led astray while being with Chris.

How could she have such a mindset? Did she really hope that someone would die?

Benjamin had actually misunderstood what Kathryn meant. She didn't want anybody to die at all, or else she wouldn't have gone downstairs despite her profound weariness.

Travis had also arrived. Chris pinched Kathryn's waist and asked, "Aren't you tired?"

"I am."

"Then go upstairs and get some more sleep."

Chris understood her exhaustion. She had succumbed to sleep before everything concluded. Waking up like this must have been unbearable for her.

Kathryn instinctively glanced at him when Chris told her to go upstairs to continue sleeping. Chris raised his brows. "Why?"

"Y-You're not going to believe the nonsense he's spouting, are you?" She was talking about Benjamin.

Benjamin, overwhelmed by pain, found it hard to articulate a single word. Ye
