Kathryn didn't look like someone well-connected with powerful backgrounds. Chris and Markus couldn't figure out how she knew Lewis, someone renowned in Harborlean.

While they were still thinking about that, Jean walked towards them and said respectfully, "Mr. Albert, Mr. Huber said you could go inside now."

Chris nodded coldly.

Kathryn was suffering from a brain freeze. She hoped to black out right away. She didn't expect Lewis to order her to be at Arctic Splendor and invite Chris over.

Kathryn wasn't sure what to do at the moment. Lewis looked towards her and said, "Go and cook the beef stew. I want the meat tender."

"Okay." Kathryn stood up hastily and tossed the sandpaper she was holding aside. She didn't dare to look at Chris' long face and bolted as if escaping. She didn't get far before she felt the pain on the top of her foot and winced.

In a stern voice, Lewis said, "Restless girl! Why can't you do anything well? Walk slower if you're injured!"
