Brian had been in the headquarters since Kathryn's disappearance. He was at Chris' disposal.

"Okay," Tara said respectfully and hastily. Then, she hung up.

The pressure in the office was palpable after the call.

"Don't lay a finger on the Johnson Group," Victor warned.

Tally had tearfully begged him before he came.

Even though he thought what Tally did was stupid, it remained a fact that Tally was a good person.

Chris shot him a cold glare.

"Your wife and son would have starved in the streets if it weren't for Tally," Victor said.

She didn't dare to use her card and didn't have a lot of cash on her.

Chris scoffed. "I will let her off this time. But, I will drive the Johnson Group to bankruptcy if there is a next time."
