"Which stage are you in now?" Victor immediately asked.

"Stage 4."

Stage 4? Victor was stunned that Chris' illness was already that serious. He had never noticed that something was wrong with him before.

How could Chris be diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer all of a sudden?

Victor's uncle had passed away because of liver cancer. He was lamenting how men could still die because of disease no matter what kind of hardships they had gone through in life.

Liver cancer didn't sound like a severe illness under modern medical practices. Yet, each patient was so different that their survival rates actually depended on their body conditions.

"This is why you proposed a divorce with Kathryn, right?"

Victor believed that Chris had only come across the fact that Kathryn was Krista's daughter at this point. Everyone familiar with Chris knew that he was a person who knew how to distinguish between right and wrong.

Considering Chris' typical approach to resolving issues, Victor believed that
