"Where is Mr. Markus?" Tally asked.

"He's reading in the study room."

Tally lost her temper again, the frustration piercing her heart.

Things had gone downhill, yet the man was still reading in his study. Did he even realize how big of a mess he had made?

Tally stared at the country villa situated in the lavender field. It offered no sense of tranquility, only the anticipation of an impending storm.

"Go and see if he is in the mood," Joseph said nonchalantly.
