"Can't you call off the engagement?" Kathryn couldn't help but ask. If Tally didn't like it, then calling it off was obviously the best choice.

"Kat, do you know what the Glenns do?"

"Victor's even scarier than Mr. Albert. I sought him out, and the whole city knows we're engaged. If I call it off now, he'd probably sell me overseas."
