Kathryn felt more at ease after receiving Tally's call. Yet, she was still worried.

Chris had been tied up in meetings for the entire afternoon. He only came back to the office at 4:00 pm.

Chris' lips curled into a smile when he saw the scarf in Kathryn's hand. He went to her and said, "It's looking great. You're making progress."

Previously, her hands were clumsy with the knitting needle. Now, she was a whiz at it.

Kathryn responded, "In the beginning, my fingertips used to get pricked, so I couldn't knit quickly enough."

"What about now?"

"It's okay now."

When she first started knitting, her hands had struggled with the pain, and even a gentle touch had hurt her fingertips. But that was no longer the case.

Chris was all smiles as he scooped her into his lap in one swift move. Kathryn was so startled that she accidentally let go of the scarf in her hand.
