Savanna took a deep breath to compose herself as she glanced at her phone. It was Krista calling.

She picked the call up and said, "Hello!"

Anxiously, Krista inquired over the phone, "What's the progress now?"

Savanna had already briefed Krista at the hospital, and now Krista was calling again for an update.

Savanna reminded her, "I have people looking for Kathryn now. Wendy is waiting for instructions. Don't interfere with the plan."

Savanna closed her eyes briefly. Her voice was trembling slightly.

The situation had stirred up memories of the emotional turmoil she had experienced when she left the baby in that snowstorm.

"Do you think you can find her?" Krista's voice conveyed her growing panic.
