Chapter 1148

Kathryn was puzzled.

"I'm sure he must've gone mad," Tally said. She concluded that it was the only reason that could possibly explain his current behavior.

Kathryn and Tally were discussing in front of the hospital's entrance. Kathryn was still talking to Tally when Chris arrived at the hospital to pick Kathryn up.

"That must be it. He must've really gone mad. I would've lost my mind as well if I was him."

"Why?" Tally's mind went blank when she heard what Kathryn had said.

She wondered if she had really crossed the line. She didn't think she had done anything at all.

She found herself self-condemning in terms of both conscience and morality. After all, Markus had seemingly lost his sanity because of her.

"How can he not lose his mind? He has lost both his relationship and his money."

Tally was speechless. She admitted that she had made Markus lose a lot of his money. However, she refused to admit she was responsible for Markus' relationship.
