Kathryn intended to visit Jessica's doctor as she came out of her ward. Yet, she surprisingly overheard the two nursing assistants talking to each other when she was in the restroom.

"I can't believe how generous Mrs. Preston was. She's got a point, you know. She's going to die, after all."

"I know, right? And that sister of hers, I don't think the Alberts truly accept her even though she's the lady of the family. Things would probably be worse for her if Mr. Albert doesn't like her anymore one day."
