Natalie felt embarrassed being held by him like a child, and there was something even more embarrassing.

Oliver scooped up a ravioli and brought it to Natalie's lips.

"I have a cold. If we eat together, I might infect you with the virus," Natalie hesitated inwardly. Sharing the same bowl of ravioli and using the same spoon felt too intimate.

Oliver's face darkened. "Natalie, do you still dislike me?"

"No, I don't! Really!" Natalie felt wronged. Why couldn't this man let go of his biases?

She tried persuading him, "You eat it yourself. I've already eaten enough tonight."

Oliver scoffed, then looked at the woman in his arms.

Natalie's scalp tingled from his gaze and felt trapped, unable to escape. She reluctantly opened her mouth and ate, muttering, "Serves me right, getting infected."

"Want to infect me?" Oliver glanced at her red lips and said, "You can try kissing me."

Fuming, Natalie turned her head away, refusing to speak to him.
