A week later

Alex had gone home heartbroken, but she never reached out to me after that. Although I expected it from her, I was still very disappointed.

I walked downstairs struggling with my huge luggage, but luckily my assistant came to the rescue.

Madame Charlotte was waiting downstairs for me. We were supposed to be in the airport in five hours for our flight to Mexico, but she was stressing for no reason.

My luggage was loaded in the trunk of my car, and we drove towards the airport.
