French Toast:Arkyn needed to escape, Conan was howling inside of him needing to be near Alice but he needed air. He didn't know if he had made up the whole thing with Lydia or if it was even possible, that something like that could happen. Her words were haunting him. Was he missing something with Alice? Was she sick? He made his stomach twist and turn inside of him. He made his way out into the hall, hsi eyes going to look towards the kitchen. He felt Conan pull him towards it. Later. He growled at his wolf. You need to control yourself. Arkyn growled again. How are we supposed to know if there's something wrong, if we don't spend time with her? Conan grumbled back.I need you to let me clear my head. Arkyn snapped back at him. Arkyn turned on his heels walking away from the direction of the kitchen. Each step he took away from Alice the air felt a little lighter. He felt horrible for feeling that way but right now his head was scattered and he needed to be able to think straight
Blue:Kristen walked through the trade lands. The red sand kicked up into her shoes. She grumbled as the wind kicked it up around her. The two soldiers she brought with her walked behind her looking about. It had been so long since she had left the pack land. Arkyn liked her to stay close. Now she was casted aside for a mindless useless task. She hated Alice, every part of her wished she would just disappear. Kristen walked through the trade tents her hands clenched in fist as she was looking for a fabric tent or dress shop. They had made a quick stop in the town before the trading post. She had pretended to not be feeling well in order to send word to Red River. The boy at the gas station they stopped at; he was easy to manipulate. With a little bit of money and a little bit of magic, she knew he would get to Red River and pass her message along to the Alpha there. She needed her problem to vanish as quickly as she came. Kristen stopped at white tent that was being held up by stic
The Hall:Arkyn's hands gripped the steering wheel as he pulled up to the gate of Red River. The gate was new. The last time he came it was just an entrance. He scanned the front of the Red River’s pack land. James was preparing for something. He had secured his pack lands pretty quickly. He watched a guard come out of the tower and walk towards the car.“Name and nature of business?” The guard said quietly, his face looking like he wanted to retract his question as soon as he saw Arkyn’s face.“I’m here to pay your Alpha a visit.” Arkyn said, his voice quiet and chilling. The guard nodded several times. A mixture of fear and worry spread across his face as he tried to find words to speak.“Alpha Arkyn I will notify him of your Arrival.” The guard said to him his voice timid as he bowed his head respectfully.Arkyn did not respond. He disliked this pack and every timid cowering member in it. He watched the guard retreat into his tower. He glanced over at Skarde. Skarde smiled wickedly
War;Sarah watched Arkyn and his pack members leave. Why was he here? What had James done? She walked into the hall and stopped short. Her chest tight, her stomach twisting in fear. Her eyes spotted the blood puddle first. Her new black high heels stopped just in front of it. She followed the blood with her eyes to the source. A decapitated body laid on the ground. The head inches from it. She relaxed a little bit seeing the head did not belong to her son. A loud yell bursted through the hall, she took a step back it catching off guard as she looked to where the noise was coming from. James stood on the stage his body shaking, his fist clenched. Sweat beaded across his forehead. The yell came out in a force desperate burst. As if he had been holding it in. The members around him were all froze to their spots. The slaves around him cowering in fear.“We are going to war!” James announced loudly. “What?” Sarah whispered but it was loud enough for it to travel to James.James' eyes fl
Luna: Alice pushed the plate forward, her belly full and happy. Her other hand going to rest on her belly. A satisfied smile resting on her lips. She leaned on the counter a little letting out a small sigh. She then laughed at herself. Garold chuckled as he raised an eyebrow at her. “Good?’ He asked, his voice still holding the laughter from the chuckle. “Very, I don't remember when I ate something that good.” Alice said, sitting back up. “If you think that’s good, I'm cooking dinner tonight.” Garold announced. “Oh?” Alice laughed. “Yup making my special dish just for you Luna.” Garold said winking at her as he grabbed her plate and went to the sink. “Luna?” The word fell out of her mouth as she felt her stomach drop, her eyes widen as she looked to Garold’s back. “Um..So did you want to actually tour the pack, meet some of the members? It probably is a little stir crazy sitting inside the main house all day?” Garold asked, trying to change the subject. “You said Luna.” Ali
Sparing Alice zoned out listening to Garold’s voice call shots and moves. It was like some type of practice. They started off with cardio and workouts. A loud clap broke her thoughts. The men clapping their hands together broke her trance. She watched the men start pairing off. “Until the last one standing.” Garold yelled as he turned, his seem to fogg over. Alie realized he was receiving a mind link. Chaos broke out behind him as he gave the orders. A small battle broke out. It was everyone against everyone. Alice took a step back, her eyes watching the scene in front of her. Part of herself worried the rest of herself was interested. The men went full on at each other. No weapons, just hand to hand combat. “Alice, I need to head to the office really quickly and check on something for Alpha. Did you want to come or stay?” Garold asked his feet ready to take off in the direction of the office. “I’ll stay.’ Alice said, watching the men. “Ok…I’ll bring you back a coat.” Garol
None of your Concern: Arkyn carried her through the doorway and began heading to his room. Alice gave in pretty quickly and rested her head on his chest. She couldn’t ignore how good it felt to be near him. The warmth he was throwing off felt so nice, her goosebumped skin begged for it. She inhaled his scent, the smell instantly making her feel calm. She had spent her whole life on edge and it felt unreal that she could finally relax. “You're freezing.” Arkyn mumbled and pushed the door to the bedroom open. “I will be fine.” Alice replied quietly, she could feel the cold down to her bones but she was not going to tell him. “The cold can kill you.” Arkyn said his jaw clenched as he said that, thoughts of Lydia crept into his head. “You killed me.” The words rumbled and jumbled around in his head making himself feel sick, hsi stomach twisted in on itself as if it wanted to empty its contents. The quick intensity of emotion rushing out of him made her own stomach drop in respons
523:She woke up to coldness and she groaned inwardly to herself. She ws tired of this man not being here when she woke up. She felt sore all over but it was a good sore. She kenw some of it was from fighting the men but alot of it was the good kind of sore from Arkyn. She smiled a small silly smile thinking of him. She stood up and made her way to the bathroom. Touching her neck slightly as she got to the mirror. He had marked her. That meant he wanted her. He wanted her as his mate. Her fingers traced the crescent shape mark on her neck. Sparks of joy flooding through her at the thought of him accepting her. She shook her head at herself feeling silly. Then her stomach knotted. Being his mate meant being Luna. The people here were different from where she grew up. She had heard stories about how they were cold, cruel and heartless. But yet so far home was more cruel, cold, and heartless. The bright red scar on her arm flashed in the mirror. 523.How was a slave suppose to be a Lun
Vow:Eliza paced the room, her hand resting on her belly. She was waiting ro Alice to wake up but part of her wanted to run, to flee Black Mountain. She felt the pull to him. She had felt it before with James. She felt sick thinking about it. She couldn’t stop thinking about his ruffled blond hair and deep chocolate brown eyes. She couldn’t, she had to think about her and her unborn child. What man would want to take on this? Especially with the child's father being their enemy even though he’s dead. She needed to just think about her and mend the relationship with Black Mountain, go back to Red River and make the pack better and new. A knock on the door tore her from her thoughts and pacing. She inhaled while walking to the door slowly. She put a smile on her face chasing away her thoughts. She knew Arkyn would come to talk to her at some point, she was still a little terrified of him but she needed to end the feud James had started and helping saving him in his pack sounded like it
Lenore saw Arkyn collapse to his knees. She dropped Norris’s head from her mouth and ran towards him. As he slumped over she slid underneath him bracing him against impact. As he collapsed onto her she shifted into human form, her hands wrapping around him as he fell against her. “Arkyn!” She yelled as she cradled him to her, blood pouring from his sides. Why wasn’t he healing? She kneeled in front of him. She was completely naked, blood covered the front of her, running from her chin like war paint down to her stomach. Her long black hair concealing her naked breast as she checked to see if he was still breathing. She watched his chest slowly raise and fall. It was slow, she needed to get him to the hospital now. She pulled him against her, her arms going under his shoulders. Her eyes locked on her destination as she began to drag him. She shut her eyes trying to focus all her strength on pulling him. Blood smeared across the white snow as she began dragging him. The battle around
Fight:The ground was littered with bodies, some dying others no longer in this world. Arkyn had several at his feet, Blood running down both his arms, a mixture of his own and the ones he had slaughtered. Arkyn growled, becoming frustrated as he could feel members of his pack dying in the battle. Conan pushed him forward. His Anger pushed him forward.Norris locked eyes on Arkyn, a grin appearing on his face as he watched him walk through the crowd, slaughtering anyone that attempted to touch him. He walked effortlessly, Norris couldn't help but be a little impressed at hsi skills and how easily he made it look. Norris twirled the bottle in his hand. He had been waiting for years for this moment. Not only would he slaughter his whole pack but he would make sure Arkyn died slowly and painfully. The liquid silver in the vial felt warm beneath his touch the glass, the only thing preventing it from poisoning him. Norris tucked it away, it had to be done in the most perfect timing. Ark
War:“Garold, I need you to take Alice and go.” Arkyn said, shoving Alice into Garold. “Go where? Arkyn we are surrounded, I am staying and fighting with you.” Alice growled angrily.“I..I can’t. I cant have anything happen to you. Do you hear me, even if I die here, that’s fine. This was how I was always supposed to go out but you, you need to live and you need to go.’ Arkyn growled fiercely. “I am not-“Garold, I command you to take her and go!” Arkyn yelled using his Alpha status to ensure Garold would submit.“Alpha.” Garold said, trying to resist the order.“Don’t …make…me…” Garold said his body twitching as he began sweating, pain starting to radiate throughout him.“Arkyn I am fine. I am staying.” Alice said, grabbing a hold of his hand.“Alice I cannot lie you die here or worse.” Arkyn said his eyes flickering to Garold who he knew any minute would have to cave.“Arkyn i would have died in a cell or worse if you didn’t come to Red River. I am not-As the word not left her mo
Fire:“That's it, there's the signal!” Curt yelled his body vibrating with happiness as he began to move. He stopped short looking to Norris. Norris sighed loudly and at Curt but inside his wolf was vibrating with pure adrenaline and rage, waiting and wanting to cause havoc and pain on Arkyn’s pack. Curt’s eyes glossed over as he informed the pack and they began to move out of the woods, like shadow figures of the night. The glow of the bright orange flames catching the wood on fire brighter the dark area. Conan lunged at Jonah sinking his teeth into his leg and tossing him towards the flames. Jonah let out a loud yell as Conan stalked towards him, teeth snarling and chopping. A loud bang pushed Conan back and the bright flash that lit up the area made everyone shield their eyes.Garold pushed through the crowd of men, all of them not reacting and all stunned at what just happened. Even Jonah’s men were not sure what the explosion was. Everyone was trying to get their bearings back.
Stand off:Norris paced the woods just outside Black Mountain. He was waiting for the signal or for Arkyn to arrive. He had been waiting for this moment. He really wished it had been his father. Not much was said about how he died. He hoped he suffered. Died slowly, painfully. Alone. Norris ran his hair through his short sandy color hair. His dark green eyes studying the entrance. Years of living in the Dark Forest made his eyes accustomed to the dark, he could see for miles. The weather was not bothering him either. No sunshine meant the forest did not get warm. He clenched his jaw waiting. “Alpha, any sign yet?” Curt said walking up to his side, his dark brown eyes scanning the entrance as he tossed his braid behind him. “No but there was a jailbreak for a second. I sent word to Jonah that the raven hair girl jumped out the window and broke Arkyn’s men out of jail.” Norris smiled a little. “A girl?” Curt asked his eyes scanning for a child.“No Arkyn’s woman, his mate. She’s eit
SOS:“Alpha, the pack is locked in the hall. Jonah is threatening to burn it down. We are outside just in front of the hall.” Njar rapidly sent through mindlink.“Pour mountain Ash on them, The mindlinking needs to stop.” Jonah said as he walked down the stairs from the stage. “There’s a pack helping Jonah -'' Njar was cut off as mountain ash was dumped on him, he flinched in pain, his eyes flicking to Alice regret in them.“Dark..Forest.” Skarde sent his voice weak even in mindlink, he heard the order of mountain ash and did not know if Arkyn would get the message. He needed to try. Skarde was covered with mountain ash, he crashed further into the snow covered. The men walked around sprinkling the dust on everyone to ensure no one would be able to communicate with Arkyn. The man walked towards Alice who was dosing out the mountain ash.“Never mind her, she is packless. She might as well be a rogue.” Jonah chuckled. The words stung, reminding her that she had wished that she had ac
Almost: “So just how did you escape?” Njar smirked as they reached the door to the dungeon. “Jumped.” Alice said a small smirk on her face as she pushed the doors opened and walked out into the cold air. “You were a bird or monkey in another life.” Njar laughed. “No …maybe a cat. Nine lives in all. Just remember to say thank you when i’m all done saving your butts.” Alice laughed as they began moving silently through the darkness heading to the hall. The hall was in sight, they were almost there. They were almost all free and ready to take back their pack. Alice paused just in front of the hall, something was off. Her eyes fixated on a large stage placed in front of the hall and a large stake in the middle of it. She tilted her head, her brain trying to understand exactly what she was looking at and when did it get there. “Surrender.” Jonah’s voice said from behind the group. They all turned and Jonah’s army slowly surrounded them. That was fine, they could fight and take th
Jailbreak: The cold wind blowing from the window sent chills running through her. Alice stood at the window, fidgeting with her fingers. She had jumped out the window before. It was more adrenaline than anything. She took a deep breath and pulled open the window. She looked down at the snow on the ground. It was just like before, she would have perfect padding she told herself. The only thing different is if she didn't do this it wasn't just her life she was trying to save but the whole pack. “Jump!” Lenore shouted in their mind. Alice took a deep breath and jumped. The wind rushing up at her made her inhale deeper. She squeezed her eyes shut as the white snow came rushing towards her. Alice relies on Lenore and her quick reflection. Lenore took over just enough not causing a shift but Alice landed neatly in the snow pile. Her Knee pressed into the snow, her hand bracing herself as her jet black hair floated down around. The snow scraping against her skin felt like tiny knives. Al
