Chapter Sixty Five

Doubt:

“Alpha.”

James head was slumped forward, drool dripping from his mouth onto his shirt. A small round circle of drool stains in shirt as he sat up right wiping his mouth. Soft snores fluttered through the air invading his ears. His eyes snapped over to the bed. Eliza wasn't even graceful in her sleep. Loudly snoring like the swine she was. He gritted his teeth, instantly annoyed with her. Alice. He thought his eyes were going back to the cage. She laid perfectly still. The red dress clingy to her every curve. No snoring came from her mouth. She looked like a perfect piece of art. Her hair flowing effortlessly around her body capturing her softness. Why did it take her leaving, someone else wanting her to make him realize she was his. That she belonged to him. She was his prize. His trophy, his and only his. She would see that in time. He told himself running his hands over his face. How long has it been?

“Alpha.”

“What?!” He snapped back at the mindlink, he said for no one
