Chapter Fifty

Nightmares:

“Arkyn.”

She was calling to him again. He groaned. He was sick of seeing her face. He was sick of the torment. He was in darkness; it always started this way. He searched the darkness looking for it. A faded light guiding him to her chilling voice. He didn't want to go but he went. He didn't want to see her cold blue toned body. Her hollow out sunk in cheeks. No matter how much he didn't want to, he went. His feet almost dragged to the faded light, as if it was a spot light where he was supposed to be. Reaching the light, he cringed inwardly. The room transfer formed into their bedroom. The colors are still all shades of blues and grays that would match her when she appeared. The fire flickering as if it was casting the spot light that surrounded him.

“Arkyn.”
