The Apology

Raven's POV

I made it to my room and smiled triumphantly. Bella had said the only thing that would give the twins a wake-up call was if they felt threatened.

I had not expected Roy to show up. In fact, I had wanted Roman to show up. His anger the previous day was baseless. They were as guilty as I was about concealing the truth.

I removed my slippers and lay on the bed. My stomach rumbled and I nearly regretted not eating my food while I waited for one of them to come into the kitchen to complain that I was not eating with them on the dining table.

I decided to wait until they all left the dining and kitchen respectively before I went back to eat whatever I could find.

After about thirty minutes of just lying there doing nothing, I decided that I couldn't take the hunger anymore. If I ran into either of the twins, I would just ignore them.

Just as I stood up, a soft knock came at my door and I smiled thinking it was Bella.

I rushed to the door to open it with a smile on my face.
