Familiar

Roman's POV

I fumed as I left Raven's room. How could she have said she had never been close to an Alpha? Was she trying to say she had the tendency to be drawn to all high-ranking wolves?

But then my anger was not justified. She didn't even know that she was our mate. I guess if she knew she was our mate she would not have said what she said in my presence. She saw me more like a friend.

The thought of that still didn't soothe my anger. The thought of her in another man's arms was making me mad.

I got to the room to find Roy going through a file. I didn't bother to say anything to him as I sat on the chair and started removing my button so that I could remove my shirt.

'Are you angry that I kissed her?' Roy asked when he sensed my angry mood.

'That is none of my business,' I said. I wasn't in the mood to talk to Roy or anyone at that.

'Why then are you angry?' He asked standing up from the table and closing the file to sit opposite me on the chair.
