Brandon POV:

As much as I loved working out, I even needed a break every now and then. A war was on the rise and we were all on edge, Alley was getting new abilities every time we turned around, not that I minded. I thought it was pretty badass. Seeing all the element carriers was crazy for me, maybe because I am not a witch or anything, but they were crazy looking. My wolf, Lane, has been on edge since everything happened. We didn't like someone trying to kill our Luna and even though she can take care of herself we would still lay our lives down to protect her at all costs. Maybe it is a good thing I haven't met my mate yet, maybe the goddess is waiting until after this war. I wasn't really sure. I wanted to give up on looking and in a way I did. I stopped turning my nose up to see if I could pick up on a scent that would take me to her. I stopped going to meetings that didn't require my presence, Lane and I just needed to be patient a little longer. "What are you doing today?" Alex asked throwing a pillow at me. "I was trying to nap before training. What are you doing today?" I asked. "I think I am going to take the day off and go to that pond at the back of the lands, I could use a little fun. Why don't you come with me?" Alex said, looking at me.

It was then that I noticed he was in swim trunks. "You know what, fuck it I'll come with you. Let me go and change." I said jumping to my feet running up the stairs. I could use a good fun day. When I was done changing I grabbed a towel and made my way back downstairs. "What is going through your head?" Alex asked. "Just everything that is going on. Who knew Alley would be the target of something." I replied. "Oh I know, you've seen those carriers right? The wind guy looks freaky as hell." Alex said, shaking his head. "He does, but he has a very hyper personality." I laughed. "I guess, it is pretty cool to see her and the other Lunas train though. I've never seen Lunas actually train like that." Alex said. He was right, but then again we didn't know of any other Luna that had gifts like that. Even the other six hid their abilities because witches and wolves don't really mix together. All the races tend to keep to themselves but Alley had a crazy plan to form an alliance with the dark witches and the vampires. I haven't heard all too good things about either queens. You have one that killed her mother for an unknown reason and the other that is just flat out vicious with zero remorse for what she does.

I wasn't really sure how that was going to go but I know I will hear about it when they get back. "When is Alley meeting with the dark witch queen?" I asked. "Not sure, she sent the message through two other dark witches, they are at a picnic with Danny right now." Alex replied. I honestly hope that the dark witch queen isn't as bad as we had heard. Maybe there was a reason she killed her mother or maybe there isn't. Alley was trusting that the queen be calm long enough for the talk. Only time will tell I suppose. When we reached the pond I sat on the edge and looked down into the water. Alex was getting ready to jump off the ledge when Stephens voice rang out in our heads. "I need the two of you by the playground, Pythia is here." Stephen said evenly. I rolled my eyes. "That didn't take very long." I huffed standing to my feet. "I have back up clothes behind the tree, you can borrow some." Alex said, tossing me a bag. I quickly changed and we ran towards the field. I could see Alley and Stephen with a few others making their way towards the woods. We fell in line behind them silently. I didn't know what to expect but I knew I was about to find out just who this Pythia woman was and what was going to happen.

When we got closer I could see three figures but the middle woman stood taller than the other two did. We stopped not far out, I looked around to see that Tye was staring at her weirdly. His nose lifted for a second before he shook his head. Maybe they stink. I lifted my nose to sniff but couldn't really smell anything but the woods around us. Then again the shield that was put into place is kind of blocking that.   "I heard the great white witch herself summoned me herself and I have to admit I am curious." Pythia said tilting her head to the side. "I did, I caught those two at a house where we found an enemy. Care to explain that?" Alley asked crossing her arms across her chest.

  • Brandon & Leia   Chapter 58:

Leia POV: As we stood still waiting for alpha Scott to really begin I could still see the confusion on some of their faces. This was something that was kept a secret for the most part and now they are all about to find out what really happened. "As we wait for them to be brought out I would like to explain why the Blackwood pack along with the covens are doing here." He said finally speaking. "Leia was once part of this pack until she was not only captured by Bosch but was under what we know as the forbidden magic. To better explain I would like to invite Pythia up." Scott nodded towards her. I could feel my heart racing, there were details that I did not want anyone to know and I knew that Pythia wouldn't bring them up. "Hello everyone, when it comes to the forbidden magic there is a difference, you see we are dark witches are able to use dark magic on a lot of things but the forbidden magic is by far the worst. It has the potential to morph us into different creatures essentiall

  • Brandon & Leia   Chapter 57:

Leia POV: I woke up this morning not really sure how I was feeling about what today's events would unfold. We were all curious about how they would react to it. While I washed my hair my mind drifted back to the conversation that took place when we all were sitting around the porch.. **FLASHBACK** I sat on the swing while Ambrosia, Brandon and Jackson followed suit. "So how are you really feeling?" Ambrosia asked. I sat back against the swing and pulled my legs up. "Honestly, I have no idea. I thought maybe I would feel a little better being the one that decides what is going to happen but then I started thinking about how they are going to react, will they try to play on our tempers? Or would they accept it and not cause anymore problems." I replied, shrugging my shoulders. I was leaning more towards them playing on our tempers. "None of us know what is going to happen, I mean when we all grew up we didn't see this side of them." Jackson said and I nodded my head. The

  • Brandon & Leia   Chapter 56:

Leia POV: Last night's events were probably the best we have had, we sat around the coffee table watching movies, playing a card game and having a few drinks. For once the stress of everything wasn't weighing on our shoulders. The bones had been sent to Collins territory for further examination but this morning they had called us over to Alley and Stephens to hear the result. "Are you ready?" Brandon asked, standing in the doorway. "Do you really think it's him?" I asked. "I don't know honestly, I think we will be disappointed either way this goes, you'll never have your justice or we found someone else and he is still on the loose." Brandon replied. Even if he did die somehow that is justice within itself and something I will just have to be okay with at some point. "As long as he is out of our lives and can't hurt anyone else then I can make peace with it you know." I said. "I know you will, I guess I just wanted you to have the justice that you deserved." Brandon replied. I cou

  • Brandon & Leia   Chapter 55:

Brandon POV: I was beginning to get really frustrated. We had been out here for weeks looking for him and still haven't found anything of his at all. Alley has been popping in and out to bring us food and home to spend what time we can with our mates and for those that have children so no one feels like they have to miss out on anything. We were all growing more and more frustrated each day. One day the scent is hot the next day it's like it doesn't exist at all which sends us in different directions. "What are you thinking about over there?" Alex asked, pulling me out of my thoughts. "I didn't think this would take so damn long, why is his scent all over the place the way that it is, you know. It just doesn't make any sense." I replied, shaking my head. "Well, think about it, when we move around a lot our scent travels to different areas so maybe that is what he did to try to throw us off or something." Alex said and I shook my head. "No, there is something more to it that we are

  • Brandon & Leia   Chapter 54:

Leia POV: When Brandon left the room Pythia came over to lay on the bed with me. "So tell me how you are really feeling." Pythia said, grabbing a piece of fruit. "I just feel tired and sore mainly." I replied, shrugging my shoulders. "I never really recovered from training with Ambrosia before the rest happened so I think it's really starting to weigh on me." I added and she smiled. "How is your training with her going? Does anyone else know about it?" Pythia asked. "It's been going good. She hasn't taken it easy on me at all, which I like, but I also taunt her when I feel like she is holding back and she scolds me when I am. She also likes to keep me on my toes, you know last time she left me a note." I laughed and I heard Pythia giggle. "She is always like that. She is one tough lady not many would dare to train with." Pythia replied. "I can see why, she is a little intense but in a good way. No one else knows though, I don't want anyone thinking I am getting some sort of specia

  • Brandon & Leia   Chapter 53:

Brandon POV: I didn't know how long I had been asleep but when I opened my eyes Leia was still sleeping. I reached over and grabbed my phone off the night stand to see it hasn't even been an hour. I sighed and looked back down at her, I gently picked up her arms and un-did one of the bandages and noticed that it stopped bleeding and looked like it was starting to heal up slowly. I heard a knock on the door and looked up to see that Pythia had stuck her head through. "Is she still sleeping?" Pythia whispered and I nodded my head. She pushed the door open a little further and walked in with some snacks. "I didn't think you would want to leave her so I brought you some food and drinks." Pythia said with a smile. "Thank you, you didn't have to." I whispered. "Hush, you need to eat and I'm sure she will be waking soon and she will be hungry." Pythia said, giving me a stern look and I had to keep myself from laughing. I knew she wasn't one to tango with but there were different sides to
