Leia POV:
Pythia took a deep breath, "Get with Stony, we need to do wraps that we can place on her, get a pillow and blanket so she is somewhat comfortable. I want an IV in here ASAP to push fluids through her." Pythia ordered. The other woman disappeared and Pythia sat down next to me. "So tell me what exactly happened." She said, looking down at me. There was no judgment in her eyes and I felt oddly comfortable talking to her. "Well, I was having a hard time with Alley moving away so I partied a lot. It's my fault honestly, I knew I shouldn't have gone but I did. I was almost to my car when Bosch showed up. He tried to take me. I busted him up and now I'm here." I replied, shrugging my shoulders. "You are the daughter of a beta right? You're naturally strong. Alley has said you are a tough little cookie." Pythia said with a smile. "I'm sure my family is worried. I don't blame anyone but myself. I knew better but I didn't really make it easy on myself when he had me." I replied. "I can tell. We will get you all fixed up. How is Una?" Pythia asked, surprising me. "She is weak. I'm worried about her." I replied sadly looking at her. Pythia stood to her feet and walked off for a few minutes before she sat back down next to me. She held her palm up and blew powder in my face.
I felt my body jerk around a few times, "What was that?" I asked. "It's a healing powder for wolves that we made. It'll take a couple hours but she should be fully fine soon enough." Pythia replied. "Thank you.." I whispered. This was new. Last I heard dark witches wanted nothing to do with wolves but I guess the fight with Bosch has brought them all together. I heard the door fly open, "Leia?" My mother shouted. I could hear her feet running across the floor. "Oh goddess.. My baby." My mother sobbed. "She will be fine, she can't speak right at this moment." Pythia said. "Tell her that I love her please." I whispered, feeling tears of my own build up in my eyes. "She loves you very much." Pythia added. "How long will this take?" My mom asked. "It could take a few days, you may come back then. You won't want to see what is going to happen but I will give updates as it proceeds." Pythia replied. "I don't want her to see me like this.. It's too hard on her." I said. "Let me have someone show you around." Pythia said quickly. "Nancy!" Pythia yelled out. "Yes queen?" Nancy called back. "Please show her around, we have to wrap her wounds." Pythia said standing to her feet. "Leia? I don't know if you can hear me but we love you.. We will be there when all of this is over." My mother said before she walked back out of the door.
My heart broke at the sight of her, I never wanted her to see me like this, she didn't deserve all of the stress. "Alright, let's get her all wrapped up." Pythia said, looking around before I felt something lay across my belly. I felt my head being lifted slightly before it was placed on what I assumed was a pillow because it was soft. I could see a few different women lifting and rolling me in different directions before they put a blanket on top of me. "Now, it'll tingle a little bit but nothing more. Now we have to do your IV." Pythia said before I felt the prick in my upper arm. ''Alright, you want a TV or something?" Pythia asked, looking down at me. "That would be nice, thank you." I replied. She looked up and nodded her head. Pythia stood up and walked out of the room leaving me here alone with my thoughts. I didn't mind it all that much and my body felt more relaxed than it has in forever. "Una? Are you okay?" I asked, laying down beside her. "I am, she seems very nice." Una replied, shifting her gaze towards me. "Yes, she does. I owe her for helping me." I replied. "Alright, since I'm in a good mood I figured we could have a little camp out thing. Plus I need to keep your IV in check." Pythia said, laying blankets and pillows down. "Here is a TV, it isn't much but it's something." A woman said while rolling in a TV. "Thank you Lillith, we will be fine here." Pythia replied.
So that one is Lillith, she is pretty. She bowed her head and walked back out of the room and I watched as Pythia started flipping through channels. I don't know what they put in these wrap things but it was very soothing and I could feel myself growing tired. "What time is it?" I asked. "Nearly seven at night now." Pythia replied. "Is Alley okay? Everyone else?" I asked. "They are all fine. I told them to stay away, and going off your reaction to your mom I'd say I made the right choice." Pythia replied, looking over at me. "I just don't want them to blame themselves, you know. It isn't their fault that I was irresponsible." I said. "Don't be too hard on yourself kid. We all make mistakes in life. It's up to us to learn from them to better ourselves." Pythia replied, leaving me a little shocked. "Why are you being so nice to me?" I asked curiously. "I've gotten to know Alley and the rest and I watched her reactions when she spoke of you. I guess you could say she rubbed off on me a little bit." Pythia laughed. "She is the best person I know. Her mate seems nice. Have you met yours?" I asked. "Not yet, although there is one man, I feel an odd tug but nothing more. I've been on this planet a long time so I'm not really holding my breath." Pythia replied. "He could be your mate, you know." I said.
Pythia turned her head slightly, "Unlikely, he is a wolf." Pythia replied. "Never know, I'm just saying don't close that door. Accept it and let it happen." I said, shrugging my shoulders. "You're a sweet girl. I'm so sorry for what you are about to go through." Pythia replied with a sad look on her face. "I've been in hell, I'm just ready to be back in control of my own body you know." I said. "I do, you sound a little tired. Why don't you rest for a little while. I will be here." Pythia replied, pulling up the blanket. I laid down next to Una and weaseled my way under her leg. I closed my eyes and let myself relax knowing that I was safe, I was with people who could undoubtedly protect me if need be and I let the darkness pull me in.
Leia POV:I didn't even realize I fell asleep until I heard my name being called. "Time to wake up girlie girl." Pythia said, looking down at me. "What time is it?" I asked. "It's about eight in the morning but we need to get started on this process." Pythia replied. "I'm ready." I said sternly. I looked up to see Una was stretching herself out. "Now remember, hold on tight to Una, use her to stay strong because this is going to not feel the best." Pythia said softly. I knew it wouldn't be but it had to be done. Una laid down behind me and I crawled over to her. "Not much longer Una, we will be back to normal." I whispered, wrapping my arm around her. "We are just going to get right into it, we have to make cuts, your body must be at a weak point for this to work so a lot of blood will be lost but it won't kill you." Pythia said. I looked around to see three other women standing aro
*Pythia POV*I honestly felt horrible for having to do this but we all knew there was no other way. She was losing a lot of blood and the last thing I wanted to do was worry her, "We need to start healing the open wounds, apply the herbs please." I said not bothering to look up. My main focus was casting the spells in the books and keeping an eye on her. Even though her outer body stopped jerking around there were still some movements. It was bad enough she had other cuts and bruises on her but now there was more. She would have scars on her body and I made a mental note to make her some sort of cream to lighten them so that they wouldn't stand out all that much. I took a deep breath and looked down at her, "Deep breath in there Leia." I said knowing she was about to start screaming again. "Richiamo la magia oscura interiore. Lascia questo vaso e torna alla madre t
Pythia POV:I grabbed Leia by the shoulders and tried to hold her still. "Get her on her side now! Someone go get that pack doctor, tell her what's going on. NOW!" I yelled, pulling Leia on her side. I lifted her chin and opened her mouth letting her tongue fall out. "Get me something flat." I said looking down on her. "Leia, can you hear me?" I asked opening her eyes, they rolled to the back of her head and I got no response from her. "She passed out." Una yelled. I could hear the panic in her voice. "Una, listen to me now, I need to try to shove your way forward. As hard as you can." I said sticking a small card on her tongue to keep her airway cleared. "Move." The doctor said squatting next to Leia. "What did you do to her exactly?" She asked, looking over at her. "We had to nearly drain all of her blood and nearly boil it to clean it but she was fine until I stepped out." I repl
Pythia POV:That could take days if not weeks and we don't have that kind of time. I slammed the book closed and rubbed my face. "If anyone can do this you can. It sucks but you have to remember that you are saving her life." Stony said sitting on the edge of my desk "I know, I just feel bad for putting her through this. She is fairly young." I replied sitting back. "You killed your own mother without remorse." Stony said flatly. "That was to save all of us." I replied, looking at him. He knew what had to be done. "My point is, death has never affected you before. Why now? Why her, what is so special about her?" Stony asked, crossing his arms over his chest. "I don't know. I guess she kind of reminds me of me in a way, except she is literally trapped within herself. I know all too well how that feels, and I spent a little time with her. She is actually a sweet girl and she was caught in the crossfire and preyed upon. Her body can't
Leia POV: My eyes snapped open and pain shot through me. I took a deep breath and flinched. Wait.. I can feel my fingers twitch. "What happened?" I asked hoping someone was around. "Ah you are finally awake." Lillith replied leaning over me. "Where is Pythia?" I asked. "She is resting, how are you feeling?" Lillith asked. "Is there anything worse than terrible?" I replied. Lillith smiled but it was a sad smile. "We are working on healing the rest of your wounds. You'll be down for a few more days but we will help you recover in every way." Lillith said. "Thank you but I really need to use the bathroom." I replied feeling the urge. "Okay, ladies, a little help. We need to carry her to the bathroom." Lillith said loudly, getting their attention. "Gently though, keep her even." Lillith added as they started to lift me. "I brought a wheelchair for moments like this." One girl said. "Good idea, set her down gently." LIllith replied. I looked down to see a blanket was covering me. "Why
Leia POV:Pythia sat back down next to me and cleared her throat. "Do you want to talk about it?" She asked. "I don't know if I can find the words to say." I replied, looking at her. "I'm going to look through all of the books I have. If I can find a way to fix this I will." Pythia said. I could see the guilt on her face. "You have been so helpful. I can't thank you enough for everything you have done and I don't blame any of you for this at all." I replied. The last thing that I wanted was for her or any of them to feel guilty about what happened, I knew they didn't do it on purpose. "I know you don't but still, I can't imagine what you are going to have to go through." Pythia said. "Una told me to have faith. Maybe you will find something but I won't get my hopes up for it just in case." I replied. I knew better than to get my hopes up for something that may not happen. "I promise I'll exhaust everything I have,
Leia POV: I woke up this morning feeling a little more energized than I did yesterday. The weight of everything was still on me but there was nothing I could do about it. Last night's memories came flooding back in and I looked over at Pythia and smiled. She was really good at making me laugh. I sat up and leaned against the headboard and took a deep breath. I really wanted to shower and brush my teeth. I couldn't even remember how long it has been. "Why are you awake." Pythia asked, looking at me. "Well the sun is up and I want to take a shower, brush my teeth you know, not smell like a rotting corpse." I replied, shrugging my shoulders. "Alright, well let's get you clean so you smell better." Pythia laughed while getting up. "Don't move." Pythia added before she walked into the bathroom. I heard the water turn on and another door opening. "I got you some big dresses because you can't wear pants or
Leia POV:It has been a rough few days, Lillith had helped me get my strength back but it was a damn task. Pythia had been in and out helping Alley and I wanted to see her before I left. I just had to talk to her, to thank her for all she had done. I knew the fight with Bosch was going to be happening soon and my family wanted to be away from it all but I wanted to help so Pythia and Lillith have been teaching me how to make these cool little bags. Some of them can freeze people or turn them to stone and others are like mini bombs or flash bangs. It was interesting to see how these little herbs could really do a lot of damage and I had no idea. "What would you like to do today?" Lillith asked. "I want to try to run a little bit." I replied with a little determination in my voice. I wanted to start trying to work out anyway that I could, Brad had me doing sit ups and brought me
