The Kids Acceptance

After ending the phone call with his mom, Merrick let out a contented sigh and sank into his bed again, a wave of happiness washing over him. The mere thought of introducing his Kids, Mia, and Axel, to his mother filled him with joy. "I haven't felt this fulfilled in a long time," Merrick whispered to himself, a smile playing on his lips.

He recalled his mom's request and turned his face to the side and noticed his phone lying on the other side of the bed and reached for it, his fingers dialing Nora's number.

In the living room, Nora's phone began to ring, and Mia's eyes lit up with excitement. "Mom, Dad's calling!" she exclaimed, dashing into the kitchen where Nora was busy preparing breakfast. Nora's face broke into a warm smile as she took the phone from Mia, stepping out of the kitchen and into the living room. "Yes, dear?" she answered, her voice filled with curiosity.

Merrick took a deep breath, his voice brimming with excitement. "I have something wonderful to tell you," he s
