Chapter 67: The promise

As I looked into his eyes, into Ares' eyes, all I could see was love. Ares won't hurt me and my heart knows that. My heart knew that there's no way he would hurt me because he promised me. I am holding his promises and will look after it for the rest of our lives. We're now married and it doesn't matter how it started. All I cared about is what we've felt for each other now.

“Stop thinking that I will hurt you, okay?”

Nodding my head, I smiled at Ares. He kissed my forehead and we entered the room. Ares let me rest on his shoulder as we lay down on the bed while my heart was pounding so fast because of it.

“We will go back to the pack tomorrow morning.”

I looked at Ares because of what he said with my furrowed brows.

“What about the enemies? What about my aunt's justice?”
