Chapter 11: Cold-blooded Alpha

Never did I imagine that Ares was already at my back. I didn't know he's coming.

“I said, that's yours. You are free to wear all of that, but don't take that for granted to think that I am interested in you. It is just my way of letting you know that I still think of you as my wife. No feelings involved.”

He explained himself to me which I think he doesn't need to. I appreciated it even if he let me know or not. At least, Alpha Ares still wanted to see me look good. Well, it would affect him if I didn't look good since I am already his wife. But I am scared that this might have a payment.
