Four days and Harrison barely slept. He was punishing himself and he wasn't enjoying it. Whenever Serena came around, he'd pretend to be in love with her fake smiles. He wondered if Eleanor was being tortured, if she was sleeping well, or if she even slept at all.

She had led him in a marriage dance of sorrow and he wasn't going to let it go just like that. Harrison read the headlines of the newspaper and found Eleanor's face as a prime suspect in the crime. He read the page and found out that she wouldn't say anything. The papers also talked about how she has been abandoned by him due to her bad behavior.

Everyone thinks she was but I was in between, what difference would it make? Having her back, saving her was going to destroy the family's name. He tossed the newspaper on the ground. Surely the maids would pick it up and throw it into the bin.
