Jackson screamed at Trent.
“How could you fuck up again?” He screamed before lashing out, claws extended. Trent fell back with a groan, clutching his face, blood running between his fingers.
“Stop shouting, even I have lost two of my men,” Trent growled back.
Jackson growled, “I don't care about how many men you lost, you should have kept them on a lease,” he spat.
Jackson was no more than a spoiled boy who had become an Alpha. He also liked causing others pain, especially females. Trent may have been an outcast, but he had some moral fibre. Jackson wasn't worth his time or energy.
“How did that Ruben find out?”
“It wasn't Ruben,” his Beta Simon coughed. “It was a woman, an unknown woman, she arrived suddenly. Shot the men and took away the girl.”
