Katrina’s POV

“Beside the king’s what?” I asked, my voice breaking as I ran behind her while she tugged me in whatever direction she thought was correct.

I could only catch a flashing glimpse of spiral staircase with golden handle as we climbed to the floors above and beautiful lights as I moved at that speed.

Soon we came to a halt and she beamed at me, we were standing in front of an intricately carved door with shiny mahogany wood which from one glance you could tell was very expensive.

Thomas and Mathew were no where to be seen and I couldn't blame them. I was shocked by her rapid movement in dragging me, her excitement a bit contagious and hard for me to resist as she felt like a burst of sunshine to my previously dark world.

I could faintly hear them from downstairs but Ariana wasn't paying attention. She was too focused and elated by the matter at hand. Mathew probably knowing his sister and deciding to leave her be as he didn't bother to join us upstairs and accompany us.

Katrina’s POVFor the first time in as long as I could remember, I had what people called a luxury bath. Different scents filled the bathroom as I rinsed my skin from the soap which I used to scrub my body clean. At some point I discovered I had been crying which didn't surprise me thus I was so overwhelmed with joy and relief as I did so. I knew it was too early to be happy, nonetheless my body and mind couldn't help succumb to the peace and calmness of the new environment I had found myself in.The past hour felt like heaven and I could say the difference was clear from where I was coming from. Exiting the bathroom, I strolled to the bed, my heart clenching in warmth and brow lifting in surprise as I caught sight of white cotton shorts and a blue vest laid out on the mattress.Already having an idea who’s action it was, I simply dropped the towel I had wrapped around me and lowered my body on the bed. I picked up the vest, my fingers rubbing the soft material with admiration in my e

Katrina’s POV“Open,” I called at the door as I halted my task of brushing my brows, an action I had never done in my life. Ariana had volunteered to pluck my brows the previous night. I refused initially but she told me it’d be worth it. After some persuasion, I gave in and almost regretted doing that at the jabs of pain I felt at each pull of my facial hair.In the end, the result was rewarding as she had said and the pain was nothing compared to all the hurt I had gone through all my life so I sucked it up and was happy at the change it made on my face as my sight caught the mirror that morning. We spent some time over dinner which she had brought and I was surprised when she joined me in eating. When I asked, her response was simply, she was hungry and she knew I was lonely so she came to keep me company and made me feel at ease. After dinner she pointed out the names and uses of the content in bottles, containers and tubes that were on my vanity table and in the bathroom.I was

Katrina’s POVEvery ounce of oxygen left my form as his statement washed over me. I literally froze, every bone in my body unmoving and my heart beating too fast I hoped it wouldn't beat out of my chest. His gaze roamed over my face, observing every little detail and noting it to memory. I felt trapped by not only his arms but his irises too and the meaning in his statement.I gulped, eyes too wide for my face in shock and understanding. My fingers curled at my sides as shiver ran through me. For some seconds I wondered how his words could have such effect on me without him even touching me yet.The man was as ruthless and scary as I’d heard. Only the minutes I had spent in close proximity with him had told me that, so why was I feeling that way with him?“Choose your medicine wisely Katrina,” he murmured in a smirk which I was beginning to think was his signature look.“Hmmm?” He hummed when I didn't utter anything in response, another shudder running through me in the span of a minu

Katrina’s POV"Okay, which should I choose?" I asked no one else but myself as I stood, hands on hips, observing the dresses I had spread out on the mattress.Different designs and colors of dresses lay before me. The kind of dresses I had only seen on Amanda, Gina or other rich females back at Shaun's pack. Now the dresses were in my vision and all mine for whenever I wanted to wear them. It was evening and the sun had almost set completely, casting an orange hue in the sky.The clock read 5:23 pm and I had little over an hour to get ready. A maid had come over during my nap and informed me there would be an official dinner in the evening.I was a bit pained at the interruption thus it was the first time I had gotten to taking a nap. Amanda never let me catch a breather not to talk of having time to rest during the day.Sometimes even at night I wouldn't be able to as a result of pain and overthinking or most times the fear of Shaun coming in to force himself on me.I had never felt

Katrina’s POV"You'll see," she declared and turned to the clothes. "Okay, time to help you make your choice."“Don't keep me hanging like that,” I almost whine. She whirled to send me an inquisitive glimpse at my tone but chuckled as she caught sight of my expression which was a total contrast to the blank one of the last minute. “Sorry but I have to.”“Why?” I asked again.“Because it would be a nice surprise,” she answered in a shrug. “Also I like to keep people hanging.”“Wow,” I blurted, my mouth gaping. “I guess I chose the wrong word then.”“Maybe you did,” she laughed at my utterance. “But what’s to life without a little curiosity?”“Curiosity they said killed a cat, Ariana,” I argued, saying her name for the first time since we met.“For a while there I thought you had forgotten my name or didn't catch it when I introduced myself to you yesterday,” she snorted and bent to pick up the black dress with a slit and pressed the top of the dress to my neck. “I heard you loud and c

Katrina’s POVMy heels clicked away on the reflective and shiny marble glass as I walked beside her toward a corner where I could perceive the scent of food and noted the door to my right was the kitchen.I couldn't quite believe in the past 24 hours I hadn't entered the kitchen. A place which was my usual spot where I did lots and lots of chores and underwent different series of physical and mental abuses.“What’s wrong Miss?” Maddy asked all of a sudden and I jolted as she poked my arm lightly, prompting me to realize I had come to a stop, my vision trained on the kitchen door.“Nothing,” I beamed and moved my head from side to side, partly in denial and partly to shake of the gloomy thoughts and images that flooded my mind on those few seconds. “Let’s go.”She bobbed her head at me and we trudged the rest of the distance to a corner, there was no door but a corner and I caught sight of a long table before I spotted the company around it.“I leave you here Miss,” Mandy declared, bow

Katrina’s POVDinner went smoothly and wasn't as tense as I had thought, the only strange person to me was Steven who was introduced as a bestfriend, nonetheless I found him to be easygoing.I noticed Davos’s eyes on me all through the hour we spent enjoying our meal and sharing conversation. He was in no way subtle about his lustful gaze and it was too noticeable for anyone to ignore. At some point Mathew had to excuse himself, his words being that he needed his food to digest before he puked at the amount of sexual heat he was sensing from his king.I was a werewolf, however there were a lot of things I didn't know or experienced like other beings of my kind. Not having a wolf like most people dealt with me and made me feel inferior and lack basic knowledge.Being surrounded by Lycans at the dinner table and mostly at the new environment was weird and scary all at once. They appeared to be larger and more sharper in senses than normal werewolves.Truth be told I was taken aback when

Katrina’s POVAs expected, Ariana had succeeded in convincing me or maybe using the word ‘dragging’ me would be perfect for how I was made to change from my comfy attire of cotton shorts and a brown vest.Into loose fitting jean pants which I was wearing for the first time in my life beneath a black short-sleeved crop top. It was a wonder how in only some days since I had changed environment and closed, I discovered things about myself I didn't know.Like how my face looked better with my hair in a side style with the strands falling over one shoulder. How my eyes shined when I was excited and how I had a beautiful slender figure with enough flesh in the perfect places.“Can we go now?” She asked in excitement as I was fully clothed into her choice of attire.“Yes,” I agreed and she dragged me by the arm out of my room and down the stairs, my hair flying behind me and she giggling as I grumbled, my voice breaking as I bounced on the steps. We crossed the large hall on the downflooor w

Katrina’s POVDressed in plain blue palazo pants and a brown wrap-around long-sleeved white blouse, I descended the flight of stairs, my white heels clicking away on the tiles while my hand which held my blue bag on my shoulder, slid along the railing.Arriving at the vast hall on the down floor of the castle, I observed eyes on me, questions and assumptions in their gazes as they were directed at meIt was a bit unsettling hence it wasn't only the servants at the castle but some elders and a few warriors were noticed to be hanging around. I wondered what they were doing at the castle on a Saturday evening but had no one to ask and I couldn't mind-link anyone for an answer hence I lacked a wolf and certain abilities that came with it.For a moment while I covered the space to the exit door, I wondered if Davos had somehow made our relationship official by calling out the elders and warriors to inform them.It could be possible and the thought sent a cold shiver down my spine as I was

Katrina’s POVIt was no longer a secret I was Davos play thing and woman. Everyone had known at that point, partly because the thing with Steven had blown things out of proportion and the fact I always had his scent on me due to our constant hanging around with each other and sharing a bed together. As for the scent part, it wasn't my doing or the fact I knew his scent, however it was something Valencia had told me about when I asked her one time at the mall after the receptionist bowed to me respectfully. The expression on my face musf have shown it because Valencia chuckled and that made the young man to mirror the frown on my facial features before she later explained to me what had occurred and why.We returned home and narrated the story to Arianna who winked at me and said the words, “You can't hide the truth.”Even then, she was saying it to somebody on the phone as I waltzed into her office. Her brows lifted a bit in surprise at the sight of me and a smile appeared on her lips

  • Bound to the Alpha’s will   Chapter 74: Florist

Katrina’s POVIt was a Tuesday and gradually the pack and especially the castle inhabitants were starting to shake off the event of Steven’s madness. Even his absence was slowly becoming filled up as the jobs he handled was divided among Arianna, Mathew and Davos. They didn't show it, however everyone knew it was an extra duty for each of them and would mess up their schedule a bit. Davos had done that the previous day being Monday.I wasn't told directly, nonetheless I heard it during talks with Arianna and Valenci, Arianna sighing while Valencia mumbling how it’d make Mathew return home to her and her son later than usual. When Davos had turned in for the night, I had suggested to him to appoint someone else to take on Steven’s task. He was skeptical about it but later revealed to him he had an idea about it earlier in the day.I asked him why he didn't act on it and his response was that it would take time. Steven wasn't just one of his workers but also a friend whom he loved and a

Katrina’s POV I made sure he didn't miss eating me out as he wanted, his tongue lapping at my juices while he held my hands in place above my head as I spread my legs wide for him, his head hurried in between my thighs. He made sure I had reached my peak twice, my orgasm rocking through me. He didn't hesitate to suck me dry while he drilled me with his fingers until I was a panthing and moaning mess.If I thought he’d stop there, I was in for a shocker when I felt him enter me, my body buckling at the intrusion and a strangled moan leaving my lips.As he’d always done, he fucked me all through the night, taking his time to explore and discover more sweet spots in my body while I submitted myself totally to his lustful movements.I enjoyed every moment as he didn't fail to give me pleasure as he took from me. Our screams and grunts filling the room, the sound of our bodies meeting in a sensual dance and the sweat dripping down our skin the only thing I could focus on for hours.Somewh

Katrina’s POVEven when the waiter brought our meal, I was still in shock. Also I couldn't conceal it as my gaze which was skeptical remained on him as I wondered in my head how he had the audacity to say such out of the blue.I wouldn't lie, it made me feel hot all over and he didn't care to deny it or call it a mistake. If not for anything, the suggestive glances he kept sending my way proved he was anything but serious. My plate was consisting of tacos and of course served with wine. Honestly I had no idea what it was when I ordered it, nonetheless it looked and smelled delicious and I think I made the right choice.Davos on the other hand had ordered barbecued fish and sides. I at least knew what it was hence we’ve had meat, chicken, and fish barbecue about 3 times at the castle, Mathew was always in charge of grilling and marinating which was probably the whole work while Valencia and Arianna prepared the sides while I only did the salad. It turned out to be a nice bonding time f

Katrina’s POV I pulled the door ajar and came face to face with the handsome man I was slowly falling in love with, a fact I couldn't deny no matter how I tried to do so.He was dressed in a V-necked ash shirt made of shiny material that blended with the black, well-ieoned slacks he had on. His was simply combed backwards with some stray short strands hanging on the side of his face.I beamed and wiggled my brows at him in admiration, my eyes done taking in his outfit that made him appear classy and as well not so overdressed for a lunch date. The times we had spent together, I had gotten to know more and more about him and one of those things was that he had an amazing fashion sense.“I know I saw you earlier,” Davos smirked as he tugged me in toward his chest, arms secured on my waist as he stared at my face, affection and another emotion I wasn't ready to conclude as love yet. “But did I tell you looked beautiful?”“Yes darling, you did,” I declared with a huge smile of appreciatio

Katrina’s POVSteven was banished that day to the shock of everyone. When Davos had said to me the evening of his madness that he was going to do it, I thought he was playing tricks.Even when the day was upon us, I thought it was just some scene and situation planned out to be some sort of punishment where he’d be humiliated and pardoned after.I think I wasn’t the only one who took it as a joke, they might have had different notions or presumptions about what was happening compared to mine, nonetheless it was certain I wasn't the only one who took it as a joke. The shock on everyone’s faces proved that and there was nothing they could do or say as he was banished. After that a hint of sadness reigned in the whole kingdom.Steven regardless of his troublesome personality was a goofy fellow who mostly got along with everyone. Even Davos felt his absence and though he tried to hide it, I saw through him.Mathew on the other hand was acting non-chalant and it was hard to read his mood,

Katrina’s POVThree days had passed swiftly and the castle was a bit quieter than usual. Despite the silence in the air, rumors still flied around about the event which had occurred about the King and subordinates fighting themselves because of a strange woman. It didn't surprise me at the narration hence I had experienced rumors being about me on a regular basis at Shaun’s pack. I had come to understand that rumors change from one person to the other. How this person hears it is not how it would be told to the next person. The narration was always different as little things were added to make it sound exciting and capture the attention of the listener.Which is why when even the maids ar the pack house began to look at me differently and murmuring to themselves whenever I walked past them, I didn't bother to call them out on their behavior.Instead it was Maddy and the others who defended me or said something whenever the situation arose. I on the other hand didn't have any energy to

Katrina’s POVI followed Davos into his room and I got seated on the mattress. He moved around for a while before he came back with a cold bottle of water, “here.”Smiling at him, I took the plastic bottle that was handed to me, the coolness meeting the insides of my palm, passing a calming effect that I had no idea I needed. He sat beside me on the bed, his weight causing the mattress to dip, and for my body to slide downward to meet his. He opened his left arm and I wrapped my hands around his waist, my head resting on his chest.I could hear the sound of his heartbeat in my ears, noting it pick up at my closeness before it chose a steady pace. I exhaled a deep breath as I got comfortable and at peace with each passing second. We sat in silence like that for heaven knows how long. The noise of the clock ticking the only sound filling the room space, our breathes mixing together. The madness of earlier replayed in my mind and it all seemed like a dream. I would have thought it was if
