It's the second day since my last talk with Piper, and I haven't seen her again in the house or even in the office.

I was already tempted to ask Claudette about Piper's whereabouts, but I didn't want her to interrogate me about what was happening between us.

I don't want to discuss and dig into it more 'cause I have nothing exemplary to say. My feelings for Piper were left skeptical, and I hate myself for that 'cause I know I'm hurting her.

Believe me when I say I knew the sensation of being disregarded by someone you like or love. I didn't mean to make Piper feel wrong, but I can't just go with the flow without ensuring things.

For unknown reasons, I do care for her.
