I woke up feeling incredibly refreshed and content. The soft rays of the morning sun filtered through the curtains, giving out a warm, golden glow in the room. I turned to find Troy lying beside me, his eyes filled with warmth and affection.

"Good morning, sunshine," he greeted me, his voice a soft, melodic whisper that sent shivers down my spine. Without a word, he pulled me closer and tried to kiss me.

"I have not brushed my teeth," I protested, attempting to pull away from him.

He chuckled softly, not willing to let me go so easily.

"It does not matter," he insisted, his lips curving into a mischievous smile. He pulled me back in for another kiss.

I finally managed to free myself from his embrace and shared my plans for the day.

"I am hanging out with Mary today," I announced to Troy.

"What are you guys going to do today?" Troy asked.

I shrugged. "I don't know yet. I will find out when I get there," I replied, standing up from the bed.

"I don't want you to go, stay with me," he sa

I tried on all the dresses she had, and honestly, they were the most gorgeous and beautiful dresses I had ever seen. However, they were not practical for my lifestyle. I spend most of my time training and doing various activities that require freedom of movement, so these dresses felt too restrictive. I saw no point in getting any one but Mary practically forced me to wear one of the dresses."I don't know, Mary. All the dresses are beautiful, but I do not think I need them," I said softly, not wanting to hurt her feelings."Come on, Blue, this dress looks absolutely stunning on you," Mary insisted.I looked at myself in the mirror, turning side to side and admiring my appearance. She was right, the dress looked perfect on me."Mademoiselle, cette robe est parfaite. We can make any adjustments that you like," Josephine said."There will be no need for any adjustments. I like it. I just don't think I might need it," I told her."Cherrie, every dress will always have an occasion when yo

"Hello dear, how are you doing?" Troy greeted me as I walked into the house. I sighed, my shoulders drooping with fatigue, and replied, "I am okay, just so tired." He hugged me tightly, planting gentle kisses on my forehead. As I pulled away from his hug, I inhaled deeply, taking in the pleasant aroma that filled the house. "What smells so nice? What are you cooking?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.Troy's face lit up with a playful smile. "Well, I guess I knew you would be tired from all the stress, so I made you my signature meal," he said. "And you came just right in time.""That's so nice," I replied with a soft smile as I followed him to the kitchen.“Here, come take a seat,” Troy said, his hand gently pulling out a chair for me. I settled into it, watching him as he served the meal onto the plate, displaying the skill of a seasoned chef, and then placed the plate in front of me.“Bon Appétit,” he said with a charming smile as he served the dish to me before getting a plate for hi

I embraced Troy one last time before he helped me into the carriage, where I would join Alex on our journey back to my pack."I will miss you, Blue," Troy said, gently kissing my forehead. "Please write to me as soon as you get there.""I will, Troy," I replied, my voice tinged with sadness. "I will miss you too."As I gazed at him through the carriage window, he waved at me while the carriage started moving. With a silent "I love you" on his lips, I whispered the same words back to him. I continued to watch him from the small window until he slowly vanished from view."You two always act like obsessed lovebirds," Alex teased, breaking the tender moment.Turning to face Alex, I playfully smacked him with one hand, unable to suppress a smile."Stopppp... we do not act like that," I whined in protest.Alex maintained a serious expression. "Of course, you do," he asserted."No, we do not," I insisted, feeling defensive."Let us not argue, Blue. You spend all your time with Alpha Troy, a

"What the hell, Tyga?" I yelled as I stormed into the room."Welcome back home," Tyga said, clearly unfazed."Home? You want to remove me from my Alpha position and take my place," I accused him. I noticed how he had made himself quite comfortable, sitting casually on my desk."Calm down, Blue. Where are your manners? No greetings, no hugs, nothing?" he replied with a calm smile.Tyga was always one to remain calm even in a heated argument and I knew from countless experiences, I was not able to get a reaction from him when angry."Fine, I will try to be civil. But I still want an explanation, Tyga," I said. I sighed."That is it, child, take a deep breath," he advised.I followed his instructions, breathing in and out. I was exhausted and was acting based on impulse and if I wanted things to work out I had to do things in a calm state. “That’s it, child, take a seat,” he said.I sat down opposite him and looked at him straight in the eyes."Alex told me about everything. It was finally the day we were supposed to meet the elders. The elders were the oldest members of our pack who had one point of great power and authority before they retired. They live as the outcasts of my village away from other werewolves. They were rarely seen and you could only meet them on incitement or really important stuff or else who would be punished or worse killed. There were many myths and rumors surrounding the elders. People could go their entire lifetime never encountering an Elder. I have had the opportunity to meet the elders but even then I was not brought there because of a good opportunity. The death of my father had caused me to go there, Tyga had carried my dead bleeding father on his shoulder and held my crying self with one hand. When an Alpha dies, his body is taken to them where they perform the burial rituals to help his passage to the Afterlife. I do not remember most of the experience because I was too traumatized and crying in pain to really care about

I put on a simple light blue gown and packed my hair in a high messy bun. I looked at my reflection in the mirror and admired myself. I had just sent a letter to Troy telling him not to worry about me that I have almost sorted things out and how much I miss him, in truth, I miss him terribly and I could not wait to see him and wrap my arms around him, I could not wait to go back to him after all this was sorted out. After giving my outfit one last check, I headed over to Mira's house. I knocked on the door, and it swung open, revealing a smiling Mira."Mom, she is here," Mira exclaimed with excitement."Hi, Mira, how are you doing?" I greeted her as I entered the room."I am so happy you came. I was afraid you would not show up," she said, holding my hand and swinging it excitedly."Why would you think that?" I inquired."Because it's not every day an alpha visits a low rank like us in our home," she explained."Okay," I replied. She eagerly pulled me along, introducing everyone, "

TROY’S POV.The absence of Blue had left a void in my life. I missed her dearly, yearning for the sight of her in my bed every morning. Falling in love had proven to be a beautiful experience, and I found myself daydreaming about the next time I would see her. Without her, my days seemed to drag on slowly, and I could not fathom how I had managed without her before. It made me believe that everyone needed a "Blue" to add excitement to their lives. My thoughts often wandered to how her pack was reacting to the news of our mating. I hoped they would accept it, as I can not bear the thought of her rejecting me. Every day, I counted down the moments until our reunion, wondering if she had received the letter I sent. The absence of her response was unsettling, and I understood that the pack's issues were likely weighing her down.Maybe I should take a run and stop overthinking about everything, I'm sure Blue would have everything under control. I wish Blue had let me come with her, I sigh.

I inquired, raising an eyebrow."Why don't I read it to you?" she suggested, unfolding the paper."Dear Troy, I miss you deeply. Every day, I dream of you and think of you, even though you are far away. You are always in my heart. Everything is going well here, so please don’t worry. I will be home soon, and I can not wait to hold you and kiss you lovingly," she read the letter with a mocking tone. As she continued, I reached for the letter, snatching it from her hands."I love you so much, Troy, from Blue," she concluded with disdain."Don't touch my personal stuff again," I scolded, crossing my arms in a defensive stance. "No one asked you to read my letters.""I had to, I wanted to know what was keeping you occupied when I was away," Freda retorted, her hands on her hips."Do not test me, Freda. Chapter 138 – Blue’s POVThe world outside felt eerily calm as we prepared to set out. Emily’s sobs echoed in my mind as I stood by the window, staring into the night. It was the calm before the storm—a silence that weighed heavily on all of us.Troy’s presence beside me was steadying. He placed a hand on my shoulder, his grip firm and reassuring. “We’ll get him back, Blue. We’ll bring Nathan home.”I nodded, steeling myself. “And we’ll finally end this madness.”Emily sat nearby, her face pale and drawn, clutching the last remnants of hope she had. Her brother’s life hung in the balance, and we couldn’t fail.Troy stepped forward, the sword from his uncle’s chest now sheathed at his side. “This might be more than just saving Nathan. If Emily’s right, this man—the one behind all of this—could be tied to the secrets of the cult. He might even be the one who’s been orchestrating the attacks against our pack.”I swallowed hard, the weight of his words sinking in.“You don’t think…?” I he

EMILY’S POV. Humming a turn mindlessly, I strolled along the lonely part leading to my house. It was a shortcut that I had not used in a while but today I decided to take that lane because I was exhausted and needed to rest. While walking I noticed an unusual sound and I turned around to see a man standing beside me. He was wearing all black and wore a mask too, so I could only see a part of his face. “Hey, “ I said trying to hide my fear, it was strange to see another person walking in the same lane because it's usually quiet and nobody uses it as much. He did not say anything, so I kept walking fast and trying to be on high alert. The man eventually caught up with him. At this point, the hair on the back of my neck was standing and I did not know if to run or pretend to be brave. So I choose the latter.“Are you sure you did not take anything from that room,” he asked.“What are you talking about?” I asked, walking faster, trying to get away from this creep. “You know exactly

Cause I would have sworn you were going deaf,” I spat in anger.“Easy there now Child, your anger is too much and we don't like it when. People visit our arena with that much anger, it disrupts the balance of my realm,” she said calmly. The way she sounded calmly made me even more angry.“What do you want Child,” she asked softly, “I am guessing I already know why judging from your anger but I would like to hear you speak for yourself,” “Why did you not inform me earlier, you said you w

EMILY’S POV. I walked up very early in the morning clutching tightly the bag which contained Alex’s drawing and potentially the evidence we needed. I heard the bag tightly throughout the time, afraid that it might disappear or someone would come to steal it from me. I needed to speak with Blue as soon as possible and I went into the shower for a long bath to calm my tired nerves. I got out of the shower and dried my hair when I noticed something was missing. I looked around and the bag was nowhere to be found. I started to panic. Had someone broken into my house when I was bathing? I quickly searched the entire house when I saw Nathan, my younger brother holding the paper in his hands and the other scattered on the ground.“Nathan, what are you doing ?” I shouted at him which startled him. He turned to look at me and immediately he saw my angry expression and said “I am so sorry Emily,” he asked. “What the hell is wrong with you,” I scolded, while arranging all the paper together

The mention of Alex, felt like she put a dagger through my heart and I could feel the intensity of the pain I had been trying so desperately to avoid and I started crying again. Veronica walked up to me and started hugging me and patting my back. “Is okay sweetie?” he whispered into my ears as I cried into her shoulders, “let it all out?” I sobbed uncontrollably into her arms for what felt like forever. “I don't know if I would ever stop to feel this pain?” I sniffed and I lifted myself from her warm hug to look at her. “I don't know if this pain would ever go away, Veronica.
