The following day, I was ready to meet with the guy who Mira’s father told me had a lot of knowledge concerning the crystal I was wearing.

I knocked at the door, and Mira’s father opened the door.

“Hi,Alpha blue,I was not expecting you to come this early,” he said.

“Well,I’m curious about the crystal and I want to get all the information I can find,” I said.

“Ok dear, let me get my coat,” he said, and he went back inside to get the coat made of tiger skin and then beckon on me “follow me” he said.

Mira’s father was a bit fat and he had well groomed long beards and long dark hair , he was barely above five foot and clearly shorter than his wife who was a slender tall woman with a pretty smile. I soon discovered that his name was Antonio. He was particularly nice and always had something to say. He lead me towards the woods and we followed a narrow path.

“So tell me why are you so eager to learn about that crystal?” He asked .

“Because it is very important to me,” I said.

You led me to a thief Antonio, were you part of the plan?” I asked, eyeing him suspiciously.“Of course not, You saved my daughter, there’s no way I’m going to betray you,” he said.“I need to go back inside, my crystal is there,” I said.“There will be no need for that,” he said“What?” He shook his hand into his pocket brought out my crystal and waved it at me smiling sheepishly.“How did you…” I stuttered.“Years of pocket picking as a little kid finally paid off. I entered Tyga's office, but he was not present. I took the opportunity to look around, hoping to uncover any clues about my mother's whereabouts, her existence, or any potential relatives I could contact. Regrettably, I found nothing. I carefully restored everything to its original state and left the room.I always knew where to locate Tyga. Each morning, he ventured into the woods, a safe distance from the rest of our pack, to meditate. I made my way there, and as expected, he was deep in meditation. Without opening his eyes, he tapped the mat beside him, signaling me to join him.I sat down on the mat, bending my knees comfortably."Alex mentioned you wanted to talk to me," I began. But Tyga silenced me with a gesture, his finger to his lips. "Shhhhh," he whispered. "Let's savor the calmness and the beauty of nature," he suggested.I rolled my eyes, here we go again, he trying to get me to do yoga with him and me stubbornly refusing to follow suit, in my defense, I just did not see

TYGA’S POV.Blue's father was a cherished childhood friend of mine, and over the years, we developed a strong bond. Alpha Winter, her father, was known for his strong will and his tendency to question rules, often choosing his path. I am certain he would be proud of Blue for her efforts to change the barbaric law. Alpha Winter did not align with such laws. He was a very kind and loving leader who valued human life. Blue takes after her father in many admirable ways. When Winter was about twenty three years old, he crossed paths with Mabel who happened to be his mate but she was not one of our kind. She was a witch, and such unions were strictly forbidden. Relations between witches and werewolves had a long history of conflict, and mating between a wolf and a witch had been abolished for centuries. Very few got mated with a witch, and if it did occur, a rejection ritual was immediately performed to sever any supposed curse. When Winter met Mabel, he fell head over heels in love with her

I was so excited to meet Troy again, this past week feels like centuries since I last saw him and I miss him dearly. I woke up really early and gave a short speech to my pack telling them the change in law and how Alpha Troy was my name and as such we were no longer enemies but allies. I could hear them whisper and murmur amongst themselves but for the most part, they did not seem to have much disagreement. I told them the next time I would be back I would be coming with Alpha Troy. We said our goodbyes and Alex and I entered the carriage and went traveling back to the red moon. Alex lived about a block before the pack house and he stopped first, he said he was too tired and needed to sleep and that he would meet with Troy later. I arrived at the pack house and entered. The living room was empty, so I headed into the kitchen to grab a snack. While I was eating, I heard the sound of running water coming from the bathroom. I went upstairs and found Troy coming out of the bathroom, wear

FREDA’S POV.“Shit! Shit! Shit! Troy has a mate already, what am I going to do” I asked Chloe, my personal maid and assistant.“I don’t know,” Chloe said, I rolled my eyes at her stupid response. I don’t know why I keep her around anymore.“Stop being so silly Chloe, I need you to use your brain, I’m sure you were born with one,” I snapped.Chloe proposed, “Are you positive he truly has a mate, or could he be lying to you?”“I have my doubts, but he appeared genuinely serious about it, and I found a rather pathetic love letter in his house before he returned,” I sighed, my frustration mounting.“Wow, I guess it’s true then, but you were his first love. I am sure you would be able to win him back,” Chloe said.“I should be able to. But I have to find another means to do so because he did not in any way believe my sad and depressing story, I was on the verge of tears and he did not even try to comfort me or offer a hug, he has changed a lot,” I stated sadly. The stories of my supposed c

I knocked at Alex’s door repeatedly with tears running down my eyes. I did not even wait for Troy to give me any bit of explanation before I dashed out of the house and came here. “I’m coming, please don’t break down my door,” Alex’s voice called from inside. He swung the door open, his face initially stern but softening when he laid eyes on my tears stained cheeks.“My dear, what happened to you?” his tone shifted, filled with concern.I attempted to form words, but my voice failed me, and my tears flowed uncontrollably. I lifted my hand, silently asking for a hug, and Alex immediately embraced me, gently shutting the door behind us."What is wrong, Blue? I was not expecting you so soon, and certainly not like this," he said, his voice filled with concern as he tried to comfort me.My attempts to speak were futile, and the tears continued to pour, but Alex held me close, patting my back soothingly."Is it about Troy? Did he hurt you? I swear, if he laid a single finger on you, I wou

FREDA’S POV.I heard a loud, resounding knock on my door, and I could not help but wonder if my plan had succeeded. I took a deep breath and cautiously swung the door open."Hello, Troy. I was not expecting to see you so soon. You must be missing me terribly," I greeted with a wide smile. However, Troy's expression was far from welcoming, instead, he appeared furious and boiling with anger."You know the reason for my visit, so do not act like you are in the dark," Troy retorted."I am not entirely certain, but if I were to make a guess, maybe it is because you miss me terribly and you are hoping we could be a couple," I teased, well aware of his true intentions."I did not come here for your games." he snapped back.I rolled my eyes at his response and retorted, "What games? I was just sitting in my house, minding my own business, when you decided to show up and nearly scare me to death."Troy's voice grew more serious as he asked, "Why did you leave your panties in my house?"I plac

FREDA’S POV.It has been five days since the incident, and Troy and Blue have still not reconciled so I guess that is working in my favour. I have been trying to find ways to talk to Alex but it has been seemingly impossible, he is either surrounded by people or just too busy for me to get clothes. I was wearing a long garment with a hoodie over my head so one would recognize me. Alex was buying foodstuff in the market and I have been secretly following him and I intend to approach him as soon as he is alone. As soon as Alex finished his shopping, he walked back alone, and I trailed behind him with silent steps, my heart pounding in my chest. Suddenly, he must have sensed my presence, for he swiftly retrieved a small dagger from the side of his trousers, his movements fluid and practiced. With his dagger in hand, he turned towards my direction, his eyes scanning the surroundings, tension in the air."Who the hell is that? Show yourself," he demanded, the dagger poised and ready to st

Chapter 138 – Blue’s POVThe world outside felt eerily calm as we prepared to set out. Emily’s sobs echoed in my mind as I stood by the window, staring into the night. It was the calm before the storm—a silence that weighed heavily on all of us.Troy’s presence beside me was steadying. He placed a hand on my shoulder, his grip firm and reassuring. “We’ll get him back, Blue. We’ll bring Nathan home.”I nodded, steeling myself. “And we’ll finally end this madness.”Emily sat nearby, her face pale and drawn, clutching the last remnants of hope she had. Her brother’s life hung in the balance, and we couldn’t fail.Troy stepped forward, the sword from his uncle’s chest now sheathed at his side. “This might be more than just saving Nathan. If Emily’s right, this man—the one behind all of this—could be tied to the secrets of the cult. He might even be the one who’s been orchestrating the attacks against our pack.”I swallowed hard, the weight of his words sinking in.“You don’t think…?” I he

EMILY’S POV. Humming a turn mindlessly, I strolled along the lonely part leading to my house. It was a shortcut that I had not used in a while but today I decided to take that lane because I was exhausted and needed to rest. While walking I noticed an unusual sound and I turned around to see a man standing beside me. He was wearing all black and wore a mask too, so I could only see a part of his face. “Hey, “ I said trying to hide my fear, it was strange to see another person walking in the same lane because it's usually quiet and nobody uses it as much. He did not say anything, so I kept walking fast and trying to be on high alert. The man eventually caught up with him. At this point, the hair on the back of my neck was standing and I did not know if to run or pretend to be brave. So I choose the latter.“Are you sure you did not take anything from that room,” he asked.“What are you talking about?” I asked, walking faster, trying to get away from this creep. “You know exactly

BLUE’S POV. I went upstairs to tend to my crying babies. I entered the room to find Troy was already there, gently rocking one of the babies side by side and whispering soothing words to both of our little ones. I placed my hands on his shoulder, thankful for his help before going to carry the other baby to breastfeed.I settled into the nearby rocking chair, cradling our second baby close, and chuckled softly. “They like having a lot of attention, don’t they?”He nodded, his gaze shifting between our babies. “They do,” he said, and then smiling softly, he continued ” They are just like their mama, always wanting all of my attention,”“What do you mean?” I pouted, “I definitely do not disturb like this kids,”“Whatever you say, darling, whatever you say,” he responded and kissed my forehead. “They took after their father, not me,” I protested. “I was a sweet little girl growing up and never cried over nothing,” I said proudly.“Even that statement sounds like a lie,” he said cockil

I noticed she seemed uncomfortable and bothered about something.“Good morning, Blue,” she greeted, “I am sorry for disturbing you but there is something that I need you to see,” “What is that ?” I asked, curious.“It does not look like much at first sight but I think it holds the answers we have been looking for and hopefully it will help us trace the people who experimented on Alex,” Emily said, then unzipped her backpack and brought out some drawings with strange drawing and a green book which looked like something I have seen before. “Where did you get that book from?” I asked while pointing at it. “My brother gave it to me, he said Alex had lent it to him before his death,” she paused studying my reaction, and then continued, “At first glance, it looks like it has nothing to do with anything that has been happening lately and just any regu

Cause I would have sworn you were going deaf,” I spat in anger.“Easy there now Child, your anger is too much and we don't like it when. People visit our arena with that much anger, it disrupts the balance of my realm,” she said calmly. The way she sounded calmly made me even more angry.“What do you want Child,” she asked softly, “I am guessing I already know why judging from your anger but I would like to hear you speak for yourself,” “Why did you not inform me earlier, you said you w

EMILY’S POV. I walked up very early in the morning clutching tightly the bag which contained Alex’s drawing and potentially the evidence we needed. I heard the bag tightly throughout the time, afraid that it might disappear or someone would come to steal it from me. I needed to speak with Blue as soon as possible and I went into the shower for a long bath to calm my tired nerves. I got out of the shower and dried my hair when I noticed something was missing. I looked around and the bag was nowhere to be found. I started to panic. Had someone broken into my house when I was bathing? I quickly searched the entire house when I saw Nathan, my younger brother holding the paper in his hands and the other scattered on the ground.“Nathan, what are you doing ?” I shouted at him which startled him. He turned to look at me and immediately he saw my angry expression and said “I am so sorry Emily,” he asked. “What the hell is wrong with you,” I scolded, while arranging all the paper together

The mention of Alex, felt like she put a dagger through my heart and I could feel the intensity of the pain I had been trying so desperately to avoid and I started crying again. Veronica walked up to me and started hugging me and patting my back. “Is okay sweetie?” he whispered into my ears as I cried into her shoulders, “let it all out?” I sobbed uncontrollably into her arms for what felt like forever. “I don't know if I would ever stop to feel this pain?” I sniffed and I lifted myself from her warm hug to look at her. “I don't know if this pain would ever go away, Veronica.
