Davina's point of view

Immediately Benjamin got pulled in, the red glistening light vanished and so did the portal. There was nothing on the face of the earth that could attest to the brawl that took place minutes ago. The lifeless bodies of the enemy witches were swallowed up as well, while those who could absconded away. Only the pool of blood was evidence of the attack. The wind became still and calm. I moved closer to the waterfall, pulling my hand through. The magic barrier was down. Instantly we dashed out.

Lizzy and Allegra raced to Mitch's side, his wounds were already healed up.

I walked to where the portal had opened up, there was nothing there, only the metal blade laid still on the earth. "What was that?" I asked, caging the waters desperately wanting freedom.

"The red phoenix sword" Esther picked up the metal blade.

     "What?"

Davina's point of view We gathered the broken shards of the Red Phoenix Stone we could find on the bloody earth. "This will do" Darla uttered. "We should get to work now and-----" Her words were interrupted by the loud invasion of a screaming voice. "Darla!" A young blonde girl raced to our sides panting profusely, "There's an attack going on at the town's border" Her lips moved very fast. "What!" Esther was the first to respond. "Who are they?" Marcus queried. "Witches... and most definitely not the pleasant type" The girl added. "But they can't get through the entrance. The town is heavily guarded by the protection spells of the witches" I say. She nodded. "Yes. They can't get in for now. But they came with a frightening number, and it's only a matter of time those witches find a way in" "And the humans?" Darla asked. &

  • Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny   Into the unknown

Benjamin's point of view I clasped my hands together, pulling up water from the creek we came by. I brought it to my lips, gritting my teeth as the water distastefully stung my tongue. I narrowed my visible hazel orbs to the water, regretfully taking note of the horrendous sight of the creek, it was as bad as it looks. I pulled my hand back in to draw another round to drink. We didn't have much of a choice here. Food, water and supplies are next to impossible to find here in this deserted world. We've been walking for days now and this was the first creek we manage to find. We couldn't be picky now could we? "Let's keep moving" The Alpha wolf barked from behind me, washing off his face. I rolled my eyes, but retained my comment. This wasn't the best moment to pick a fight. I was exhausted as it is, and no doubt he was. We didn't have the slightest clue where we were going, neither did we have anything to work with, but I know

  • Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny   Land of the unknown

Cameron's point of view Under the pale, red moonlit night, the whether as usual couldn't be described as anything fresh, cool or satisfying. I was on the run, being chased by a Sphinx who was almost latching on me. Where on earth is that psycho witch! I kept on racing as fast as my feeble legs could take me. I felt the chill that crept from behind me. It was behind me no doubt. Quickly, I took a swift halt, ducking inches next to the earth to prevent it's sharp monstrous claws of a hand from slaying off my head. 'Now witch!' I yelled, hastily grabbing my weapon, a short metal shaped with sharp pointed curves that could very well puncture and kill. I quickly sent my weapon at him, slicing off it's monstrous blue skin, distracting it momentously while the male witch went straight for it's head. Without much of a second hesitation, the witch aimed at the Sphinx head, cutting it off from behind. Fastly, I e

  • Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny   The Ritual

Davina's point of viewIt was almost twilight. I was at the Pack's courtyard, with Mitch, Carter and Xavier, watching everyone leave. We just concluded a meeting with the entire Pack after returning from the urgent mission in Greece. It's day two now since we returned from Nevada without the Pack's Alpha and Benjamin. It's been hell on earth for me but I chose to remain strong for the Pack and for Cameron as well. Darla and some of the Dermini Coven members are here with us at the Witches Quarters, working with the Pack's witches in finding a way to bring Cameron and Benjamin back since the last two days. And we've found one...well a loophole to the Phantom World. Darla and the Dermini Clan are not confident it'll work but I am. It has to work. Cameron and Benjamin cannot spend another day in that Phantom Prison World. Only heaven's knows what's happening to them right now. So tonight when the moon shines at it's brightest we begin the ritual and make an attempt to conn

  • Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny   Danger or friend?

Cameron's point of viewI winced at the bleeding from my back and the pain in my chest. It's killing me. I felt the hilt of the dagger inside of me, as my hand quickly colored in my blood. I was bleeding. I gazed at the unconscious witch. At this rate, we both will end up dead. I pulled a handful of water from a creek with my hands, splashing it against his face to get him awake. He's been out for a long time now, even his clothes is soaked in his blood. Unfortunately, his bleeding has worsened and there's no stopping it. I've tried everything but it isn't working. Our only option is getting him to the demon's cave before something bad happens to him. I pulled out another round of water, bringing it to his parched lips, he had totally lost so much blood. His face was as pale as that of a ghost. "Hey" He pulled his long heavy brows open. "Where are we?" His intended sharp words came out weakly in a quiet whisper. &nb

  • Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny   In the Phantom World

Davina's point of view The witches fire burned fiercer, it's warmth holding similar magic that danced around us. I could feel it, the immense magic that literally burned the whole Witches courtyard. Everyone of us could feel it. It was overpowering and pure. The very source of the Guardians magic. The moon itself shine brightly from it's abode, also bathing in this magic. I felt the absorbing energy that walked on my skin, my entire being felt like it was moving in a peaceful harmony with the magic that floated around us. I wasn't doing a thing. The ritual could only be performed my a Dermini Clan since they were part of the ancient twelve who created the Phantom World. I shut my blue pit tight closed, we all did, letting only our magic magic connect with the energy that binded the witches magic as a Coven.I felt the warmth, building up in Darla's hands, I knew we were almost there. I couldn't wait to see Cameron. I hoped to the h

  • Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny   Back Home

Davina's point of view As soon as my subconscious was jerked back to my body, the portal crashed instantly. I pulled my tear stained orbs to Darla and Rhona who was sitting right next to me. "He couldn't come" I bit out tearfully. They nodded, sympathetically. "What do we do now?" I asked. They both exchanged a knowing glance. "We'll find a way to get the Alpha out. Right now you need rest Luna" "I'm fine" I dusted myself on my feet as they rose up as well. "We'll find a way" I repeated to them. "We'll find a way" I assured myself again. 'We must! He can't stay there any longer' My inner thought slowly muttered. I could feel the chill the covered me as I roved to the Pack's infirmary. "How's Benjamin?" I asked a downcast Mitch who was leaning against the painted wall, right outside Benjamin's room. "Dr Vera and Esther are with him now. He will m

  • Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny   A walk down ancestral lane

Third person point of view He rested silently, covered by the comfort of the bed. His breathing remained calm as he escaped his unconsciousness. Subtle flashes from earlier crept like a thief into his mind. Suddenly, a quick thought sped through his mind and he was forced to abandon the darkness drowning his vision. He fought his long black lashes open and his dark hazel orbs quaked open. For the briefest seconds, he felt the numbness of his body. His injuries were healed, he didn't have to take a look, he could feel it. He wasn't in the Phantom World. He replayed everything that happened repeatedly in his mind. A low, witted hiss escaped from his beautiful lips, remembering the stupid Hybrid needless sacrifice to save him. There was a march of unidentified emotion and rage that haughtily stalked his skin at that same thought. He shut his eyes momentarily, blinking it open. No matter how he thought about it, he felt a irritat

  • Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny   Epilogue

Third person's point of view Ten years later It's been ten year since the eldest child of Cameron and Davina was stolen. It's also been ten years since the war, and the attacks and massacres on Packs and Covens have been reduced. The remaining Vampire Kings ensured peace by enacting rules in their kingdoms and on their vampires to keep serenity and most importantly to ensure the safety of humans. During this ten years, Alpha Cameron helped other Packs get back on their feet. Those Packs that was affected by Darwin's attacks were rebuilt and Packs whose Alpha and family died were succeeded by their Betas. Alpha Cameron also helped several Packs and Covens with finances, trainings and infrastructures. He ensured none was lacking. The magical world remained nothing but midnight stories and fantasies to the human world. The Crescent Moon's Pack expanded it's borders and gained more territorial lands. Four more mansions were built few distance from each

  • Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny   The Night That Have A Thousand Eyes

Cameron's point of view The war was over. We attained victory. Darwin and his armies lifeless bodies were scattered in our territory, and also that of Rowena and her witches, even the pathetic traitor, Alpha Henry was killed during the war. Mitch's words rang in my head, but I couldn't even be ecstatic. I couldn't be happy for our victory even if I wanted to. Atleast not right now. Not when my mate is in that state. Luckily, the Elders and Alpha Dimitri were still around, they were kind enough to take care of things in my absence. It's been exactly an hour since Rhona and the Pack's head doctor asked me out of the room to tend to my mate and there's still no word. The Pack is well aware of their Luna's condition, they've been making prayers to whosoever is up there for my mate and pup recovery. I was still sitting in front of the infirmary door where my mate was being looked after when I picked up a chaotic stir in the air, followed by fast heartbeats. Without thinking twic

  • Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny   Chasing the devil's tail: End Game

Davina's point of view I breathed in calmly. I was near the clearing field where we waited for Rowena. I could hear the swift movements of the enemy armies. They kept drawing closer and closer. I closed my eyes, breathing in the nature's magic coming from the earth, the air and the blood moon hanging up. The fast movements of Darwin's armies drummed my ears as I could feel their stench in my nose. They were almost onto me. I knew it was time. I pulled my hands mid-air, my fingers dancing, swaying to the rhythm of the concentrated magic around me. And in an instant, I snapped my hands watching the armies in sight drop dead on the ground from the snapping of their necks. I smiled, turning to the south of where I stood. I did the same when the enemy armies were in sight. I had positioned at the north direction, when an overpowering wave of magic ran through me. It caused me to loose my balance and stumble on the bloody dirt on th

  • Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny   The Blood Moon's War: End Game

Rhona's point of view We all stared blankly at the night's darkness, gazing up at the sky. It was a full Moon already, soon it'll become a blood moon due to the Lunar eclipse. A thundering growl echoed. It was Alpha Cameron. It was meant to inform everyone the war is almost at our door. I turned to the witches, nodding at them, everyone knew exactly what to do. Those who weren't fighting in the war had made their way to the underground bunkers and it has been concealed to protect them. I gazed at the sky once more, then a gentle but fierce wind blew to the point it shook me. I gazed around when the Luna met with me. "The wind was blowing from the northeast. This isn't good. Something big is coming our way. A storm that will destroy us all" There was a shivering in my bones. "What is it? You don't mean the war, do you?" She questioned. I wish I could tell her more.

  • Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny   The Mysterious Lady in Red

Cameron's point of view My hands rested firmly on the railings of the second floor. We were at the mansion. Even from a mile away, one could feel the vibrations from the Packhouse and around the territory. I curled my lips into a smile, it was nice seeing so many people from different supernatural root in one place, united. I loved the view from up here. Suddenly a sick shiver ran down my spine and Vittorio felt it more. I exhaled, exhausted. It was hard being optimistic, shouldering so many burden while still giving hope. Truthfully,I was worried about the war. It was the last day already, and in few more hours we will battle for our lives and existence. I couldn't help but be worried. This was Rowena we were talking about, she has been preparing for this moment almost her entire life and I'm worried. I feel something terrible was going to happen, even though we were prepared for this war. Suddenly

  • Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny   Preparing for war

Cameron's point of view I sipped from the cup of coffee on my table. My bloodshot red eyes kept going through some of the Company's business files Travis emailed over that needed my attention. After I was done I looked into the Pack's business I need to attend to under the Pack's name. Like the Pack's high school which needed a new curriculum, I also needed to visit the new Pack's hospital that has just been constructed. I was done signing the cheques needed for the Pack's finances. I stretched out from my seat, looking deep into the forest. Vittorio have been itching for a run, and temptingly that sounded nice. I rubbed my chin, decisively. It was pitch dark outside but I could still hear the loud noises coming from outside the mansion walls. The clashing of metals, howling of wolves, even the smell of the sweat. It's been four days already, and so far so good we've began training for the war

  • Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny   A face from the past

Cameron's point of view We informed the Circle and the Elders of the good news. They were all happy for us, regardless of the looming threat. A child is always blessing. After I announced the good news, I mindlinked every high ranking wolf in the Pack for a meeting at my office. I also called the head witch, Rhona and also the vampire head Declan and some ranking vampire members in the East side of the Pack's territory. I met up with Mitch and Carter. "Send word to the village at the West border. John, Pablo, and the rest should be present for the meeting" Carter nodded and left right away. The village was at the West border of the Pack's territory where retired wolves who just want to relax and live their life with their mates lived. Exactly five minutes later, I walked into my office with Mitch. It was already filled. Everyone was present, down to the ex- officials that were in the West border of

  • Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny   Our little miracle

Cameron's point of view I paced back and forth in my office. I bet it's been an hour or fucking more since Rhona and Vera literally walked me out of my room. I couldn't stand the cringing fear that kept devouring me. My mind keep having all sort of berserk thoughts and Vittorio is more hysterical than ever. The door to my office pulled open. It was Mitch. "Is Rhona out yet?" I queried. He shook negatively, making me curse under my breath. "What the fuck is going on?" I pulled my hair. "I honestly don't know. What was all that Cyrene talk about?" Mitch swerved. "I have no bloody clue about that and this was not the time to think about her" Something was wrong with Davina and that was more important. I could hear Mitch loud exhale. "You are right. Luna's safety comes first"

  • Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny   We are all damned

Cameron's point of view It was the first light of dawn and I was already present at the Gate of thrones. I couldn't sleep a wink last night, because I felt restlessly nervous. I kept wondering what Cyrene's vision was about. Cyrene was a powerful witch who was gifted with the ability to foresee the future. She was a member of the Circle made up of different supernatural kind there is. This was how we kept peace among ourselves. Cyrene could also scribe out prophesies. She was the one who saw the prophesy about the living descent of an Amnell witch, the bloodlines of the eight ancient witches of the French Quarters and my mate would bring an end to the Crescent curse that Gretchen placed on us. Whatever she says was indubitably the truth. I came along with my mate, Rhona, Mitch and Benjamin. We were all seated round the old ancient round table. "We are all present he
